Anybody been watching the series lately?

I'm so happy about last night's episode, it's finally the beginning of Barry becoming The Flash from the comics. He reached mach 1 which is like a baby step for Barry once he gets hold of his powers. They've been doing some interesting things with Zoom(the man in yellow for casual/tv fans) Did anyone else notice(I'm sure comic fans have) that Iris' boyfriend's name, Eddie Thawne, is eerily close to Eobard Thawne, who is Zoom aka Reverse Flash.

Until I saw his name on the phone I thought the doctor who made the particle accelerator was Zoom now idk, what do you think?

I watched 2 episodes cause i am a Arrow fan, but the flash really sucked, the amount of drama, bad acting and bad cast is overwhelming.

Yeah it's a very good show. I am glad abilities were thrown in right from the beginning.

Captain cold was actually pretty cool.

Really? I gotta disagree with most of that, the casting is nothing spectacular that I'll agree with, but I'd say the acting quality is on par with Stephen Amell and the girl playing his fictitious sister; and the drama is more so in Arrow than Flash. I like both shows, Flash a little more because of the indulgence in superpowers which the Arrow team decided it would eliminate(why idk, a comic book show/movie with the comic elements removed isn't the same) But I do like the supporting cast in Arrow more, Felecity is a good member of the team and oddly I like Roy's outfit design way more than Oliver's.

I watch it and love it still hoping DC changes there mine and combines the movie and tv universe and lets Grant Gustin lead the Flash movie >< and I think Wells is either Barry from teh future and trying to make sure he keeps his powers or Eddie from the future and trying to help guide Barry but also planning something else
Also cant wait for the Crossover with Arrow^^

I have to catch up only on episode 2. But you're on to something the tv series won't make it identica to the comics but they keep it close.

I like that, I never even considered Wells to be future Thawne. I don't think he can be future Barry because that starts to enter too many time travel paradox(es?, y?) If Wells is future Barry than he had his speed powers to travel back in time which means he wouldn't need to go back in time and create the particle accelerator which gives Barry his powers to start. I don't know the DC roster that well to know if there's a time traveling character with interest in Barry besides Zoom though. Also I love seeing the teasers for Grodd, I so so so hope they put him in either by the end of this season or make him one of the main villains in season 2.

Oh and yeah, the Arrow crossover is going to be awesome, I hope they step up Oliver's game and don't tone down Barry's abilities to make it a good fight, they're already holding Barry back too much as it is now.

Grant plays a good flash but Stephen's portrayal of Oliver queen is hardly true to the comics, it's still good though.

Arrow is a great show however it's too small in a way to play on the big screen or compare to marvel.

You think? I think DC set a good tone with Batman, another superpower-less super hero. I think they could find a way to make it an entertaining movie, they would just have to do like the show and borrow DC villains regardless of title.

I've seen it, it was awesome, the way Cisco reacted to the punch illustrates how I reacted, Flash breaking the sound barrier was so cool, and the ending, my god it was great. Flash is becoming really good.
