The first person to really recognize Naruto as a person

His parents of course recognized him, but he didn't know anything about them. I guess the 3rd Hokage could count, but the things he did with Naruto he did with others also. But, he also is the one that pushed Iruka to make a bond with Naruto. So I guess the third hokage is the first one.
