Maybe the Hokages left earlier? Orochimaru will have most probably told Sasuke where he was going before he headed to the battlefield, so that would have took some time.

I can't say much for Hashirama, but Tobirama and Minato are faster with Hiruzen being slower.

Actually not. Tobirama and Minato could only make "X" clones while doing the barrier. They do have a limited amount of chakra.

They have a set cap, but it's never actually spent. For example Minato may only be able to make X amount of clones, but if those clones are defeated he can immediately make the same amount again without ever actually tiring himself out.

For all we know, Hawk was scoping it out and letting Edo Kages take a look at the situation since their immortal or something.

I know he did. They all would've.

It's a little bit different given the scenario, hence the creation of the thread. Hawk don't have time to mess around, no one does. In fact, Minato saved the alliance just in the nick of time.

It's possible that Sasuke and Orochimaru could have conversed a bit before the two groups split apart.

Jk jk, i just think Sasuke was running in group with Juugo, so probably didn't go as fast as he should normally be. Orochimaru for example stayed with karin and Suigetsu behind, doesn't mean Karin is as fast as orochimaru, or Orochimaru is slower than the rest

While it could be true that Izuna and Madara were equals, that could have either been from Itachi's point of view or it could have been biased based on what Madara told Obito who may have told Itachi.

We cannot forget that just because something is stated by a character, that means it to automatically be true. If that were the case, MANY things would be true. Characters are designed to have their own opinions that may or may not differ from the authors point of view.

Nothing a character says ever REALLY comes from "Kishi himself". They come from what Kishi thinks that particular character may or may not believe. If it were true that everything the manga stated was true, Sasuke would be dead.
