The whole point of Aizen's betrayal and obtaining that device from Rukia, was to push himself to the limit. He'd mastered the shinigami arts, and noted that when a shinigami, or hollow, reaches the peak of its power, the only way to break that barrier was to take on the powers of the other.
If Aizen went to all that trouble, to make the Arrancar, do you honestly think he didn't bother to use Hollowfication on himself to make him Visored?
And considering Kisuke created, and lead the research into Hollowfication, and the decive, it only seems logical that he has the ability too. If not when Aizen used it on Rinji and co, then he will by now.
Remember, they've had all this free time. Training, waiting for their moment.

You make a decent argument, although it would be shinji and co...xD
Granted shinji has had some time to train..and was shown to be the best at control his hollow..next to kensei's lieutenant .....
I still dont think he is on Aizen's level.....especially if he can go vizard.
Knowing Aizen he can probably go full hollow by now(like ichigo) but remain in control.
Can't wait to see what is gunna go down.

I just don't think the saga will come to a close so quickly. As other people have noted, the Espada are getting picked off far too quickly.
I liked the theory about Aizen maybe trying to attract the Vasto Lorde with this battle.
Maybe the Vizard will end up fighting them instead?
And I think people severely underestimate Urahara's powers. He's going to shock us all eventually. We've never seen him get serious, when he does, even Aizen will tremble.

I don't think Aizen underestimated the Shinigami and Vizards so much. he should've kn own about Vizards existence and prepared something to deal with them. Otherwise he would fail epically.

I hope so. I know Ichigo's supposed to be the main protagonist, but Aizen is Shinji's battle, and Kisuke's.
