The Fiercest Gust: Battle for Shine-Tsu-Hiko

Requirements:
  • The bio you use in the fight can't have any a Doujutsu.
  • The bio you use can be both a custom or a canon bio. Though any character bio that requires a test is not allowed like Nagato, Muu, a Jinchuriki, Minato etc.
  • You must be at least of S-Class rank.
Battle Restrictions:
  • The fight must be done in the Battle Arena or in the Ninja World, however in the case of the latter this still have to be legit fights with the consent of both parties to fight for the sword and not some random third-rate fight. Fights that occur in social groups, Konoha Town etc. don't count.
  • The battles are one on one, mano a mano, so interference of anyone in any kind of way, especially in the Ninja World, is not allowed.
  • Custom jutsu's must be allowed in the battle as the sword itself is a custom, if a battle doesn't have this rule, it doesn't count.
  • The battles are to the death, saying "no killing" isn't allowed, though the victor can decide the fate of the loser.
  • At least one challenge per month is required with a reply time limit of 3 days. Not abiding by this rule and/or not actively using the sword will result in losing it by default.
Additional Notes:
  • You can only have one sword in your possession.
  • The swords can't be sealed away in things like scrolls or whatever in an attempt to bypass the rules.

In front of Taek, was the man that stood before him and the God of Wind, a precious blade that had recently attracted Taek's attention. His adversary on the other hand, was something else. He wore a stupid outfit, a cloak. In this day and age? What was this man thinking? No matter his life would end in a moment. The battle would begin with Taek channeling chakra into his hands and slamming the ground, creating an intricate pattern of blue seals on the ground that would begin to spew a dense chakra mist onto the field. After creating this seal, Taek would bite his tongue and scrape the blood of the seal near the tip of his tongue with his teeth. Summoning his trusty partner Castor who would upon being summoned instantly merge with the mist. In the same time-frame as his summoning of Castor, Taek would draw several kunai and launch it upwards at an arc with his left hand, whilst running to his right approximately five meters. The two were fighting on a grassland, and were 10 meters apart at the start of the battle. Taek would maintain this distance while running to his right approximately 5 meters. There was no need to attack right away, he simply needed to prep for what was to come.


(Kirigakure Hijutsu: Mujogihen) - Kirgakure's Secret Technique - Artificial Mist Deception

Description: The user will focus chakra into his hands, and then slam them into the ground, creating an intricate pattern of glowing blue seals on the ground. The seals possess the ability to leech the user's chakra and then use it to produce a mist thicker than normal ones created by man-made techniques. The mist is continually produced at high rates, meaning blowing it away will not result in the area being cleared of mist, it will just lighten it slightly. The mist since it has the user's chakra, the user will be able to sense where the opponent is.

* Can be used only once per battle
* Leeches user's chakra 10 per turn
* User cannot use Forbidden Rank techniques while it is active of any element.
* Neither user nor opponent can see or sense each other ( via methods other than the creation of this mist ) - even usages of other Chakra Sensing abilities will be distorted because of the chakra present in the mist itself.

(Same Kuchiyose: Kyasutā) - Shark Summoning: Castor

Description: Deep within the water country, in the village hidden in the mist dwelled a species of shark, within the dense fog lived a small yet incredible dangerous animal this animal dubbed by Taek as the Scavengers. Although the sharks were much smaller there their usual size, they compensated by using their unusual ability to swim and manipulate mist. These sharks were capable of expelling suiton from there skin, increasing the density of the mist around them to the point where the water vapor was far thicker than normal, but not solidified like regular water. Of these sharks was a teenage shark by the name of Castor. Castor is capable of merging with the mist, hunting down enemies stealthy as well as manipulating the mist around them with a power comparable to that of an A-rank water technique (this manipulation ability works in both ways, Castor can turn water into mist). Castor's last ability deals with the mist as well. Castor is capable of refracting light off the mist to turn it completely dark or blindingly bright at his leisure, due to all of his time living in the mist with the other schools of shark. This final ability is B-rank in power, and all of these abilities take away the appropriate amount of chakra for their rank.

Note: Cannot summon other sharks while Castor is on the field
Note: Castor although being summoned in water can and will immediately manipulate it into a plethora of mist.
Note: Lasts four turns in mist, or three turns without.

hm neat a summoning seal on your tongue? not bad, but wont biting your own tongue hurt you quite a lot seeing biting yourself in the tongue requires significant force for it to bleed, just asking :D

Magus Medivh stood before a young man, a man who intended to take his sword. As the kid slammed his palm upon the ground and the seal formed in front of the kneeling kid, Medivh released his chakra through the ground as he witnessed mist being released from that specific seal. Medivh utilizing his chakra being released into the ground surrounding Taek, he caused the ground beneath and around Taek in a short-range radius to turn into a black mass like sand which quickly rises up and consumes you creating an orb of black sand that traps you within it, the orb being incredibly dense and strong it easily suffocates you as well as restricts your movements completely. As the ground beneath and around Taek is turned into this black sand, the seal which he placed would be no more as it would of been destroyed as the ground was converted into the black sand. (The sand and orb acts like water imprisonment but is an S-rank version). Just as the ground changes into gunpowder and consumes his target before he can conduct any techniques or summonings, Medivh with a simple hand gesture released a powerful wave of holy fire which races through the air towards the imprisoned kid, the holy fire being so bright it would temporarily blind Taek if he was not hidden inside the orb, and if so the wave of holy fire would on contact, not only ignite the gunpowder causing an explosion, it would also purge the kid of his impurities and intentions, as the holy fire would consume him. After releasing the wave of holy fire, Medivh reaches for the Sword of Wind, awaiting the kids defensive maneuver.

Kayakuton: Kono burō | Gunpowder: Blow This

Description: The most rudimentary technique of the element. By focusing Gunpowder chakra throughout the body and/or surrounding ground, the user is able to create tools and constructs made of Gunpowder. These can range from kunais to full length swords and spears for close combat. It may also include different traps such as rising gunpowder from beneath the enemy similarly to the water imprisonment technique. This also includes pillars, walls and other complex constructs. Whenever the user is in physical contact with his creations, he can at will make it change its shape and form; from a sword to a spear or a pillar to an orb etc. (this does not include rank of the jutsu which remains the same no matter what the technique morphs into). The techniques vary in size and power depending on the amount of chakra utilized, where the S-rank version of this technique allows someone to make jutsus as big as the canon ‘Destructive Earth Rising Pillars’. However when these constructs come into contact with any form of fire or an element that can create heat or a flame, these constructs explode immediately. The user can at will cause a weapon in his hand or any construct on the field, which he has made through this jutsu, to immediately explode, through the use of a handseal.

- A-rank and above of this technique requires a handseal
- Changing shape of a weapon or construct requires a move slot.

Junsei Dageki | Holy shock (B-rank)
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: C-S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15-40 (15-40 per turn to sustain)
Damage: 30-80
Description: This is one of the most basic applications of the Noldor's KG, the holy fire. It being an energy that they create their kg, holy fire , to shape and control. Using this technique they are able to create a mass off the energy and keep it focused to give it shape in many forms. This can be as simple as creating a small ball of it to a cube. Or getting more creative they can make various weapons, swords, shields, Axes, draggers. WHat ever they can think of that is an innanimate shape they can create from this basic application. This can be also be used to make Waves, pulses, sentient creatures up to the size of the user, barriers, pretty much all basic application of basic elements as well as streams

Clense: (supplementary) Unlike most elements though, this one has two sides to it, the first being how it works. With holy fire there is the offensive part as an energy which comes with it being more focused but the main part is for it to purify. The entire clan being based on intents and making the world pure, allows them to create this energy in an almost non offensive manor. The none offensive manor is called "clense", and this serves to work only on those that have negative intents, like those to harm and destroy. If a person it touched by this holy fire while having negative intends the energy will burn them intensely, reacting to their intent damaging based on rank used. This served as a great way for them to protect their borders so they could test all who tried to enter their woods, any wishing harm upon them would be dealt with swiftly.

Shock: (offensive) This is the offensive version of the element, the user will concerntrate alot more chakra into the shapes waves or streams to causes damage and destruction. This is to defend their borders at all costs. The clense method is purely a way to test intents in various ways. This is for pure power. Much like a stream of fire, or chidori remei, i combines the properites of both using basic shape application.

C to B rank can be made without handseals just hand gestures, A rank can be created freely after forming one seal, the size of the object ranging for the user's needs. Being progressively stronger each rank is abe to make larger items starting with the small basic shapes at C rank to the powerful creatures created via A rank. S rank usage can be used 4 times per battle with two turns between. It can also be used to make large shapes up to 3 times the size of the user.
Note: S rank can only be used 4 times with two turns between each. And no silmarilis jutsu above B rank in the same turn.
Note: The A rank version can only be used once per turn.
Note: Can only be made around the user or on the borders of short range around an enermy
Note: While maintaining a jutsu like creating an animal the user can only use elements that make up the holy fire. Jutsu can only be maintained for 2 turns

Suddenly the ground all around Taek, five meters in every direction was transformed into a weird substance. The substance would then begin to rise. At this point Taek assumed that his opponent was probably attempting to ensnare him. Realizing quickly what his intentions were Taek would manipulate the flesh on his back, forming fleshy bat-like wings and hole-like appendages under it for later on in the battle. He would quickly flap his wings, as the gunpowder began to form a dome to surround him. Taek wanted to escape as quickly as possible, without making much sound, the purpose of the mist was to prevent Medivh from knowing of his location. Giving off any sound would tip Medivh off that he had moved. Taek would use his wings to launch him threw the opening above him. Upon escaping the dome. The mist would have spread at-least to mid-range. As Taek underwent his escape a large blast of light was released, the mist made it difficult to see but Taek simply kept flying up and above it. If his opponent's intentions were to blind him, then his methods were flawed. Taek's mist prevented his opponent from seeing him, but through Artificial Mist Deception Taek could sense where Medivh was.

(Senninka: Tsuyoi Uyoku of Illidan) - Sage Transformation: The Mighty Wings of Illidan

Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid (When used to attack)
Chakra Cost: 30 to initiate +5 to sustain per turn
Damage Points: 60 (when used to attack)
Description: A member of Jugo's clan uses their Sage Transformation ability to form two fleshy bat-like wings on his back. These wings can sustain flight and can be sustained for an entire battle as long as he remains conscious. The wings can be used to attack the opponent directly using sharp hook like growths from their tips, these hooks are claw-like in nature. Like most of the Jugo clan's jutsu these can be sustained as long as he has enough chakra to do so. The user can create boosters on their back once per battle that last for three turns. The boosters can be used to avoid incoming techniques by quickly changing the user's trajectory and moving them out of the way just like the Jet Booster Jump technique. This can only be done thrice per battle and counts as a move each time but can be done in the same time-frame as another technique. The user flies at their current running speed.

Note: Can only be used thrice
Note: The boosters can only be maintained for three turns and created once, the wings can be sustained indefinitely

Now up in the air, with one hand, Taek would channel suiton chakra, releasing a thin stream of mist in an arc. The mist would be launched like a basketball, however with Taek's elevated position, he would be the hoop, and Medivh the shooter. The mist would form into a spear five meters above and slightly behind Medivh and it would pierce into the nape of his neck, destroying many of his internal organs and killing him instantly. With the other hand Taek would launch three explosive kunai in-between Medivh and his original position. The explosive kunai were intended to mask the sound of the approaching spear, without giving Medivh any reason to move because of it's distance from him. Light, and many other factors would tell Medivh that the kunai were of no harm to him.

(Suiton: Fukushū no Hana) - Water Release: Vengeful Flower

Description: The user will launch a very small and thin blast of mist towards the opponent, the mist will go near unnoticeable towards the opponent, the mist while travelling towards the opponent will draw together. Only becoming visible to the human eye at short range, where it will the form a spear piercing through the opponents body. The user can use this while in a mist technique or alone. It can usually be seen if the opponent has sensory or some form of dojutsu.

The mist would form into a spear five meters above and slightly behind Medivh and it would pierce into the nape of his neck, destroying many of his internal organs and killing him instantly. With the other hand Taek would launch three explosive kunai in-between Medivh and his original position. The explosive kunai were intended to mask the sound of the approaching spear, without giving Medivh any reason to move because of it's distance from him. Light, and many other factors would tell Medivh that the kunai were of no harm to him.

It can usually be seen if the opponent has sensory or some form of dojutsu.

Even though his foe attempted to disorient him it would be of no use to him. As he stood there wielding the Sword of the Wind God, he utilized his clans ability to identify an opponents intentions as well as if there was any danger within or around the mist. His unique intent sensing allows him to sense Taeks intentions of harming him as well as the attack being created and thrown. As intent sensing is not a chakra based sensing nor utilizes any sort of chakra to sense someone, instead it just allows him to sense peoples evil intentions or any technique, tool or thing that intends to harm him. As such even before Taek creates his technique he can sense his intentions of harming him, allowing him to know his position, further approved as Taek generates the attack and throws it towards Medivh. As the technique approaches Medivh from an upwards angle and the technique is coming down towards him, Medivh would jump just a few centimeters above the ground as he released a stream of holy fire from his palm aiming in front of him, pushing him back and into long-range and out of reach of the technique before it comes near enough to strike him, while releasing the stream he places the sword in its hilt. Still within the mist and just as he stops releasing the stream and is about to land on the ground he claps his hands together causing it to snow on the entire battlefield. This would be the silmarillis of the holy fire falling from the sky above like snowflakes out of nowhere. The snow flakes of holy fire that comes down upon the entire battlefield would cause harm to Taek as his intentions are impure and he wants to do evil, as such the holy fire would burn through his wings and his body, as he is flying in the sky above, and not only this but the holy rain techniques makes it extremely difficult for Taek to locate Medivh (In the description). Just after creating the Holy Rain, Medivh would land safely in long-range, where he would immediately then as the Holy Rain would come down upon his opponent, it would make him do some sort of sound in pain, but at least he could still sense his whereabouts due to his intent sensing allowing him to know the intentions of his technique and him, allowing him to know his whereabouts as he would generate an enormous tornado of wind and fire around Taek which would not only spiral him around inside it together with the holy rain, it would due to the massive heat of the fire/wind tornado it would burn him to a crisp while the mist itself would be twirled around and evaporate at a very high rate, even if the seal continues to produce a lot of mist it would still make the mist less thick allowing Medivh to more easily track his surroundings.

Description: This is one of the most basic applications of the Noldor's KG, the holy fire. It being an energy that they create their kg, holy fire , to shape and control. Using this technique they are able to create a mass off the energy and keep it focused to give it shape in many forms. This can be as simple as creating a small ball of it to a cube. Or getting more creative they can make various weapons, swords, shields, Axes, draggers. WHat ever they can think of that is an innanimate shape they can create from this basic application. This can be also be used to make Waves, pulses, sentient creatures up to the size of the user, barriers, pretty much all basic application of basic elements as well as streams

Clense: (supplementary) Unlike most elements though, this one has two sides to it, the first being how it works. With holy fire there is the offensive part as an energy which comes with it being more focused but the main part is for it to purify. The entire clan being based on intents and making the world pure, allows them to create this energy in an almost non offensive manor. The none offensive manor is called "clense", and this serves to work only on those that have negative intents, like those to harm and destroy. If a person it touched by this holy fire while having negative intends the energy will burn them intensely, reacting to their intent damaging based on rank used. This served as a great way for them to protect their borders so they could test all who tried to enter their woods, any wishing harm upon them would be dealt with swiftly.

Shock: (offensive) This is the offensive version of the element, the user will concerntrate alot more chakra into the shapes waves or streams to causes damage and destruction. This is to defend their borders at all costs. The clense method is purely a way to test intents in various ways. This is for pure power. Much like a stream of fire, or chidori remei, i combines the properites of both using basic shape application.

C to B rank can be made without handseals just hand gestures, A rank can be created freely after forming one seal, the size of the object ranging for the user's needs. Being progressively stronger each rank is abe to make larger items starting with the small basic shapes at C rank to the powerful creatures created via A rank. S rank usage can be used 4 times per battle with two turns between. It can also be used to make large shapes up to 3 times the size of the user.
Note: S rank can only be used 4 times with two turns between each. And no silmarilis jutsu above B rank in the same turn.
Note: The A rank version can only be used once per turn.
Note: Can only be made around the user or on the borders of short range around an enermy

Description: This is unique jutsu that gives of a holy feel in itself. The user will clap their hands together gathering a mass of chakra over the field releasing this jutsu. From that point on the chakra will fall bit by bit, similar to that of the hidden rain jutsu, but have it’s own unique properties. The energy is that of the Silmarilis or Holy fire as it has come to be known. It would fall down gently like snowflakes of energy dropping onto the field which as they touch the ground they will dissipate from the basic use of this. As it is with most of the holy fire jutsu this has the ability to react to dark chakras and negative intents. In this if it were to rain on those flowing with bijuu chakra it would act like a fiery acid on their skin burning them severely. Not only this but it will react to those not pure of their intentions. For example, if this were to fall on a ninja who made it rain or created a clone, it would have no effect. But if a person was intent on causes something negative like harm or death, the holy rain would burn through their skin like fire itself, making it a lot harder for them to perform jutsu and concentrate causing it to take twice as long for them to perform a jutsu, so what would normally be as easy as making a single handseal, due to the constant burning it would take twice as long for them to focus. Not only this, but for sensors and doujutsu uses it will make it very difficult for them to locate the user. This won’t affect the Byakugan as the byakugan can see through chakra, like how it can see through the hidden mist. Where as sharingan and the rinnegan will just see chakra all around them blocking their vision. The use can perform an addition handseal at any point while this is active, releasing more chakra into the falling energy in any given area to increase the power of the holy rain to burn any and all it touches as it gives off an even brighter glow, allowing one to notice this, starting ateast 5 meters above the target. This can have a 5m radius, and can only be used on one location per use of the overall jutsu. In doing this it will increase the power of the holy fire to S rank, taking up 1 of the three jutsu per turn.

Note: Useable 3 times, lasting 3 turns, 2 turns between uses
Note: Making it burn and increasing it to S rank can be done once per use lasting for that single turn, ending the usage of the full jutsu.

(Kaen Tatsumaki) - Blazing Tornado

Description: The user combines there wind and fire chakra together to create this ultimate attack. First the user will build up there chakra in the air quickly creating a high powered tornado, then by adding there fire chakra to it the tornado will be set ablaze creating a fire/wind combo thats very dangerrous. This attack can be created infront of or around the opponent, but if the user is withing short range of this attack they will take the same amount of damage.
Note: Can only be used once
Note: No s ranks or above the next turn
Note: User will take 30 damage too if its used at mid range

Alright, so I was asked by Jay to check this. The first thing I'll address is Gutsy saying that Jay wouldn't be able to use the Artificial Mist because it mentions seals. However, Jay's usage is indeed valid. I ran into a similar issue when I used a Kiri VCJ to create a barrier back in the first Headhunter Games. Because the technique was approved as a village Ninjutsu before Fuuin was fleshed out in the RP, it would count as Ninjutsu, so I was able to use it without Fuuin. Given that this jutsu was approved in the same time period, I'd imagine Lord of Kaos' ruling would apply to this as well. Furthermore, Gutsy already let the move go through, so it's too late now either way.

Now, we have the issue of whether or not Gutsy's sensing would apply to the technique coming at him. Let's look at the wording of the sensing as it is in the approved clan's submission.

With this would could sense anything with the intent to harm, destroy, kill, anything that isn't seen as pure. So for example earth spikes would be used to kill through nature, you'd be able to sense this where as a earthen shield you would't be able to sense as there is no harmful or evil intent behind this
As I highlighted in bold, the approved wording of the clan does allow it to sense jutsu that are made to harm the user. The wording is rather nonsense, given that the intent is defined before as sensing "anything with killing intent," and inanimate techniques can't have killing intent, but that's how it was approved.

Now, there's the issue of whether or not Jay's jutsu will affect the intent sensory. Well, as before, let's go back to the wording of the approved submission.

Neither user nor opponent can see or sense each other ( via methods other than the creation of this mist ) - even usages of other Chakra Sensing abilities will be distorted because of the chakra present in the mist itself.
The jutsu clearly states that while it's active, no methods of sensory aside from the creation of jutsu will work. It does not solely say chakra sensing won't work, it says "even chakra sensing."

And it's now time for everyone's favorite game: Semantics! The keystone to every issue. If I say to you "You are not allowed to drink alcohol. Even rum is forbidden." Am I saying here that rum is the only alcohol you cannot drink? Nope, by the same measure, the technique saying "even chakra sensing won't work" doesn't mean "only chakra sensing won't work."

Gutsy mentions in VMs that it's illogical for chakra blanketing the mist to block sensing of killing intent. Well, not only does the technique not say this is how all sensory is blocked, this also brings me back to my note about the Noldor wording. It's illogical to be able to sense a jutsu per the clan submission's wording, but that's how it was approved, so that are the effects it'll have. The same applies to the mist. If I were to rule that the mist's approved effect doesn't work because the wording is illogical, I'd have to do the same thing for the Noldor sensing, and say it can't sense jutsu despite it being approved with that effect.

I have to rule that the sensing fails in order to avoid hypocrisy, and since the sensing acts as the basis for Gutsy's defense, his attempt to counter would fail, resulting in Jay's win.

I need to get a lot of crap done, but since I won't stop hearing about this I'm going to settle this as efficiently as possible. Here's what I'm going to do for the record; deconstruct Intent Sensing and Artificial Mist because both usages by both parties have issues. As for the rest of the fight, we'll get to that when we get to that...
Intent Sensing: Is poorly constructed. It claims to be able to sense even entities based on preconceived notions of what those techniques would be used for. Techniques do not have intent, the use of a technique does. Here is how the ability falls apart; by setting the precedent that it did, earth spikes are always going to be detectable by a Noldor because they are default harmful, destructive, impure in intent (by their definition). Shields will never be sensed even if the user throws said shield at one's opponent with the intent to harm them. Though, it is obvious that the ability tries to cover the last scenario by saying "anything intended to harm" and likening it to "spider sense" which is completely unrelated to intentions but rather, indiscriminate danger. The clan wants that same indiscriminate danger sensing while also being able to do pinpoint sensing for opponents who house the source of malignant intentions. "The member fighting me is trying to harm me therefore they dangerous and have impurities and I can sense them and whatever they does in relation to fighting against me." Is the end goal is but not what is written.

Artificial Mist: Was created based on defending chakra sensory and other forms of chakra based sensory. Moxxi's rant had no place in this thread and was little more than an annoyance overall, however she had some points regarding the construction of AF. It has absolutely no grounds for deterring sensory outside of the realm of chakra and thus, as far as I'm concerned only deals chakra based sensory capabilities. Gamni Chakra tasting method, chakra sensory, Dojutsu chakra sensory, Yin-Yang chakra sensory would fall under this category (possibly Kiyoshi energy, not really too sure on that one). Yin Release spiritual sensory, intention sensing, negative emotion sensing, etc, would not fall into this category.

It's like saying there were only a, b and c components in existence and a protocol that recognized a, b and c components says "all components recognized" and 10 years later x, y and z components came into existence yet the protocol from 10 years ago remained the same. The protocol's claim to "all components" no longer has grounds.

tl;dr version

Both abilities in dispute suck, I don't believe Noldors have any claim to sense a technique since non-sentient techniques possess no form of intent. Intent comes from the user and thus however a user intends is what can be sensed and not necessarily what is created.

I also do not believe AF inhibits forms of non-chakra based sensory.

If Jay is acting maliciously then Gutsy can sense the location of that stored malignancy. However, if Jay is a pure entity lacking any form of impurity Gutsy cannot. As for Jay's technique, Gutsy could sense that Jay would be using a technique to otherwise try and harm him but not necessarily what or where it is since the detection of the technique, imo is outside the bounds of what the clan is capable of detecting. Intent is not within the technique but within the user.

I'm going to have this fight continue with these precedents set so there is no more ambiguity.

Taek smiled, it seemed his opponent had a little bit of luck on his side, but there was no use. This battle would end in his death, Taek was sure of it. Having sensed his adversary begin to reposition himself through Artifical Mist Deception, Taek would bite his tongue (as he moved forward a few meters), only enough to draw blood to cover his tattoo in. Summoning his trusty partner Castor who would upon being summoned merged with the mist, becoming one with it. As Castor became one with the mist, It seemed Medivh had come to a stop. Taek could barely see what seemed to be little pieces of light falling down from the sky. Like the attack his adversary had launched earlier only this technique was a number of small pieces and they came from above, Taek would respond by forming a single hand-seal, summoning a large amount of water he would manipulate to form into a large dome. The water would spread out above Taek, and would surrond the entire battefield. The snow of light would be countered by the barrier of water Taek had created.

(Same Kuchiyose: Kyasutā) - Shark Summoning: Castor

Description: Deep within the water country, in the village hidden in the mist dwelled a species of shark, within the dense fog lived a small yet incredible dangerous animal this animal dubbed by Taek as the Scavengers. Although the sharks were much smaller there their usual size, they compensated by using their unusual ability to swim and manipulate mist. These sharks were capable of expelling suiton from there skin, increasing the density of the mist around them to the point where the water vapor was far thicker than normal, but not solidified like regular water. Of these sharks was a teenage shark by the name of Castor. Castor is capable of merging with the mist, hunting down enemies stealthy as well as manipulating the mist around them with a power comparable to that of an A-rank water technique (this manipulation ability works in both ways, Castor can turn water into mist). Castor's last ability deals with the mist as well. Castor is capable of refracting light off the mist to turn it completely dark or blindingly bright at his leisure, due to all of his time living in the mist with the other schools of shark. This final ability is B-rank in power, and all of these abilities take away the appropriate amount of chakra for their rank.

Note: Cannot summon other sharks while Castor is on the field
Note: Castor although being summoned in water can and will immediately manipulate it into a plethora of mist.
Note: Lasts four turns in mist, or three turns without.

Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40 (+10 to sustain)

Description: After performing the Dragon → Tiger handseals, this technique will summon a large amount of water near the user that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. Shizuku has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack though the user can shape it in any way he needs for his intended purpose. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent and as long as the user fuels it and the technique isn't fully negated, the Tiger handseal can be sustained and the water manipulated and used. The technique can also be used from nearby water sources, including low rank water techniques, for the same effect. Due to the immense control needed, the technique is considered a highly advanced use of water release, requiring the user to possess a primary water specialty to use.

Note: Can only be used by Water Primary Specialists.

Taek smiled, it seemed his opponent had a little bit of luck on his side, but there was no use. This battle would end in his death, Taek was sure of it. Having sensed his adversary begin to reposition himself through Artifical Mist Deception, Taek would bite his tongue (as he moved forward a few meters), only enough to draw blood to cover his tattoo in. Summoning his trusty partner Castor who would upon being summoned merged with the mist, becoming one with it. As Castor became one with the mist, It seemed Medivh had come to a stop. Taek could barely see what seemed to be little pieces of light falling down from the sky. Like the attack his adversary had launched earlier only this technique was a number of small pieces and they came from above, Taek would respond by forming a single hand-seal, summoning a large amount of water he would manipulate to form into a large dome. The water would spread out above Taek, and would surrond the entire battefield. The snow of light would be countered by the barrier of water Taek had created.

Description: Deep within the water country, in the village hidden in the mist dwelled a species of shark, within the dense fog lived a small yet incredible dangerous animal this animal dubbed by Taek as the Scavengers. Although the sharks were much smaller there their usual size, they compensated by using their unusual ability to swim and manipulate mist. These sharks were capable of expelling suiton from there skin, increasing the density of the mist around them to the point where the water vapor was far thicker than normal, but not solidified like regular water. Of these sharks was a teenage shark by the name of Castor. Castor is capable of merging with the mist, hunting down enemies stealthy as well as manipulating the mist around them with a power comparable to that of an A-rank water technique (this manipulation ability works in both ways, Castor can turn water into mist). Castor's last ability deals with the mist as well. Castor is capable of refracting light off the mist to turn it completely dark or blindingly bright at his leisure, due to all of his time living in the mist with the other schools of shark. This final ability is B-rank in power, and all of these abilities take away the appropriate amount of chakra for their rank.

Note: Cannot summon other sharks while Castor is on the field

Description: After performing the Dragon → Tiger handseals, this technique will summon a large amount of water near the user that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. Shizuku has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack though the user can shape it in any way he needs for his intended purpose. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent and as long as the user fuels it and the technique isn't fully negated, the Tiger handseal can be sustained and the water manipulated and used. The technique can also be used from nearby water sources, including low rank water techniques, for the same effect. Due to the immense control needed, the technique is considered a highly advanced use of water release, requiring the user to possess a primary water specialty to use.

All animals including sharks have emotions and intentions no matter if they are commanded or asked to do something as part of a game of sorts. Animals are ruled by emotions, and no matter what if they do something to harm someone it is their intentions and their goal to harm that person. So that last part of your move is flawed reasoning and borderline metagaming as you are trying to hide your emotions and intentions without knowing of my characters unique sensing and just trying to abuse wording for your goal of attacking me with stealth.

As such your goal of using your wording to hide your shark and its attack is flawed and wont work, as emotions and intentions will always be there, no matter what. When your shark wants to attack me, it is his intentions to harm me no matter what. You asked him to tag me, yet he attacks me with the intention of harming and killing me. It's a summon, not an extension of your self. You obviously can't know or control it's intentions, thats just metagaming. When your summon tries to please you it is doing so through its intentions of harming me.

One more thing your summoning since there is no definition on his range of manipulating the mist and he is one with the mist I'd presume that he can just manipulate the mist that he is present in? since this summon has no definition on its abilities range, only its summoning itself.

The pebbles and snowflakes should have been drizzling down from the sky above and into the mist all together, however this was not to be the case. The drizzling snow was nowhere to be seen or found, this was obviously his opponents doing, he had somehow managed to stop the Holy Fire completely or simply blocked it out, after all he did hear a large amount of water rushing all around him. While the water that he presumed his opponent had created was blocking the Holy Fire, he presumed that his opponent was still within the same area as before as nothing had happened, yet he was able to sense something else with his intent sensing, he was suddenly capable of sensing an intention of harming him from within the mist, a creature of sorts that was in the mist and it was about to attack him. Not being able to deduce where the attack is coming from, but knowing that it is coming he needs to act quickly to be able to defend himself, and knowing that his opponent has only utilized water based elements so far, Medivh was led to believe this was his main ability in combat. Seeing that he is incapable of sensing the incoming attack yet capable of sensing the intentions to harm him behind the attack, the person or creature creating the attack intended to harm him. As such Medivh would draw on his large chakra reserves and release a massive omnidirectional wave of oil from his body, which would be ignited by flames as it erupts in a massive wave from his body, which would not only eradicate the incoming attack, it would also harm anyone within range of the attack, pushing the mist back into mid-long range from Medivh, and if the shark or Taek would be within mid-range of the attack, they would be harmed as well, yet if not the massive wave of boiling and burning oil would simply defend him from the incoming attack, followed by it pushing the mist away from Medivh, before the oil would lose its momentum and spread into mid-long range on the field.

After having released the massive wave of burning oil, Medivh was capable of seeing his opponent in the air as well as the dome of water that spread above them which would have lost its structure and would fall apart due to the massive wave of oil having crashed through one of the sides of the water, causing the structure to collapse, however keeping his focus on Taek whom is in the air, he would be standing completely still while gathering natural energy. While gathering natural energy into his body, now being able to see Taek, and the mist around him, he would release an enormous amount of chakra into the air surrounding Taek and the ground below quickly generating an enormous tornado of fire and wind that would not only tear Taek apart and burn him to a crisp, it would also tear the ground below into pieces and destroy the seal that generated the mist, while the tornado itself being enormous it would catch both Taek and his summon within it and burn and slice them severely killing them in the process. Medivh standing back only having experienced minor first degree burns and sustaining no damage from the creation of his tornado seeing that it was created at long-range from him, yet below Taek and the mist and the summoning. And the tornado while spiralling and destroying everything in its wake, it would also expel enormous force eradicating the remainder of the mist.

(Tsunami O Nenshō) Burning Tidal Wave

The amount of oil that is released from the body in this surge quickly adds to a enormous proportions that creates enormous waves of oil covering the field while pushing anything and all away from the user. When the tidal waves of oil are released from the body, it is ignited creating massive waves of flaming oil that will stick and burn the enemy until nothing is left of them. The user sustain minor first degree burns upon using this across their body.

This attack can be created infront of or around the opponent, but if the user is withing short range of this attack they will take the same amount of damage.
Note: Can only be used once
Note: No s ranks or above the next turn
Note: User will take 30 damage too if its used at mid range

Another issue with this poorly worded sensing. Jay claims that his shark has no destructive intentions towards Gutsy; that it is simply 'playing' with his bio as they did long ago. Firstly, making such a claim is borderline metagaming. You did not know any details of Gutsy's sensing, your Taek bio simply claims that you befriended Castor, not that you played any such games with him. Additionally, even going by the wording of the clan itself:

Even if there is no malice present in Castor, his intentions are to destroy or kill. Castor is most definitely aware that Gutsy is a living being (through his shark senses), and is also aware that attacking him would deal him damage and, most likely, kill him. Thus, Gutsy's intent sensing should serve to warn him. So, Gutsy's move works fine, and he should live.

However, Gutsy you cannot simply reply to a move like this, and make changes/assume your move works without your opponent's consent. If you cannot come to an agreement over VMs you should have called a sensei. So, by simply replying to an opponent's move without the consultation of a sensei or checker, you validate the entire move (for precedence, look at Inch's fight with Jay in the IVT). That being said, you would be unable to use your Intent Sensing as justification. This would result in you succumbing to Jay's attack, and him being the Victor.
