Yet again.. another thread of ¨how do you actually unlock the rinnegan¨
So far the most accurate answer was from Hagoromo who said - 'The only way to unlock the rinnegan is by having both Ashura and Indras chakra thus leading to my own'
So... after indras and ashuras death BZ have been trying to mix their chakra in the hundreds of transmigrants but always failing until the era of Madara and Hashirama.
We all know that when Madara said you need Senjdu and Uchiha dni to unlock the rinnegan that was a false statement because he didnt know that he himself is the transmigrant of Indra and thus making a false statement having himself as a prove to it. (This is why he thought that Obito might awaken it as well)
But then we have that strange encounter between SO6P and Naruto and Sasuke where Sasuke somehow awakened the rinnegan. He was already a transmigrant of Indra so Hagoromo gave him his Ashura part in order to awaken the rinnegan but for Naruto he only strenghened his Ashura part by giving him the six path mode?
It smells like a little plot hole here because if it was explained it could have been prevented but since it was never explained it kinda contradicts what it was said before.
Because of that one could think that someone from the Sarutobi clan for example if he were to have a body surgery where half of his body wouls consist of Naruto or Hashirama cells and the other half of Madara or Sasuke cells (kinda like Obito was but here that person has chakras from both transmigrants) he would awaken the Rinnegan..
