Didn't Oda say that One Piece will go for another 10 years?
No but he said after the time skip that he was only halfway done. And i believe the timeskip was like 2-3 years ago, and then op was about 10 years old. So based on what he said, we still have 7-8 more years of op.

To the OP

NOO oda is not ANYWHERE CLOSE to ending it. If he were to end it abruptly then it would be ove in a minimum of like 3-5 more arcs.

the OP chapter 598 ''2 years later'' was released on October 4 2010 ... One Piece started in 1997, which means 13 years

Well considering Luffy's current strength, we're going to need more than 6-8 years to show that Luffy surpasses WB & Roger in strength. Unless Oda adds in a 2nd TS, which is very likely.
I jus dont see a point in which they would need another time skip, are they going to get defeated by the marines again and go train again? That would seem repetitive.

Prob. not marines. That's the only way we can accept Luffy's jump in strength. How are we suppose to believe that we jump from where he is right now to past admiral level in like 6 years? Oda is already building up his "followers", like Don Chinjao nd Bart.

Actually, you could make a case for One Piece not lasting as long as Oda said a while back. He's had health issues as of late and in a recent interview (which I'm having trouble finding again), he expressed his worry that he'll become physically unable to end the series. Also, Bleach is ending soon but was supposed to last longer.

There won't be another timeskip, there can't be...Compare Luffy's strength in east blue vs his strength against lucci, there was no timeskip inbetween them. Luffy's is just gonna gradually increase in strength as he beats his enemies in the NW and/or get a power up/asspull
