"1,000 years ago, in Ancient Greece, there was a war, known as the Titanomachy, otherwise known as the Great War between the Greek Gods and the titans. The Gods overthrew the titans and cast them away into depths of the underworld, and greece lay in "peace" for 1000 years from the Ancient titans until now..."
In Ancient Greece, night had fallen on the Kingdom of Epirus. It was a great a city with towering buildings, filled with peace and life. It possessed luscious natural environments, at the very center of the city was the citadel where the royal army and royal court stay. There lied the crown prince, the hero of our journey and the one who will attempt to save our world from the Apocalypse. His name is Pedepsi, a fairly lean young man, 19 years old with narrow eyes and short, dark hair, with pointed bangs hanging masking one eye. 2 Women lay in his bed with him. Tomorrow was his inauguration day, the day he became the king of Epirus.
Suddenly, an extremely Violent and abrupt tremor resonated throughout not only all of Epirus, but the entirety of ancient greece.
"What?" Pedepsi said as he shot up from his bed. The Quakes becoming more and more violent by the passing seconds.
Pededpsi quickly left his bed, running to his window and looking out at the city from the citadel. 1 immense pillar of light was seen shooting up into the sky inside the city directly in front of the gates. Off into the mountains, another pillar could be seen. The clouds swirled inwards around the light. The Apocalypse had started.
Many men from the Royal Palace circled around the pillar, with their spears pointed the light. The pillar encompassed a 10 meter radius. The tremors were getting even more violent at this point. A massive fissure tore through the middle of the city, several buildings collapsed in the city collapsed. Pedepsi stood firm, staring in awe as the events passed by. The door several meters behind him were kicked open, pedepsi's nerves were already bad, the sound of the door being slammed open made pedepsi jump and gasp for air.
"Your Highness!" A voice called
Pedepsi turned and looked. There was one of the Court Ladies. She wore a greek toga, her face being covered by her hair ragged short brown, it was a complete mess.
"Your Highness, Come quickly. I must escort you out of the palace into a safe passage."
"No!" Pedepsi said sternly. "I...I will be crowned King tomorrow, I can't cower away now!" Said confidently but he knew, deep down, there wast much he could.
"His Majesty predicted you would say that, and he said this is too far above you, come quickly to the Passage under the mountains!" The court lady said in a pleading voice.
"His Majesty? Does he know whats going on? TELL ME!" Pedepsi ordered as he began speed walking torward the court lady.
Just then, the massive pillars of light all began simultaneously cracking as if it was solid. It shattered completely as a powerful shock wave radiated from the light, shattering all the windows of the kingdom as well as plowing large houses backwards, leaving a massive, bowl shaped crater in front of gates as well as a giant opening in the gates.
A colossal shadow stood where the light stood. It was a man, no, it was a deity. The being stood 150 feet in the air, towering the city. He was bare, having no clothes and not even hair, he was bald and his skin was dirty and dry, a ghost like appearance. The man interlaced his hands as he pulled forward, stretching. "Ahhhh" He said as if he felt ecstasy. "It's been far too long since I've been able any of my joints." He began performing stretches, stretching his legs, arms to get them working properly.
Pedepsi stared at the man from his shattered window inside the citadel, the two women that lay in his bed had glass lodged into their bodies and were dying. Pedepsi stared, frozen out of fear.
"Forgive me your Highness!" She said before delivering a blow to pedepsi's right temple, knocking him out cold.
The Deity finished his stretches while inside the crater. The people, out of fear fleed the streets and their homes,
running to the citadel. They screamed for help. The religious fell to their knees in their home and asked for prayer of the gods. The royal army let known pass through, even in the time of emergency, however it was all futile. The great and giant being laughed sadistically.
"I am sorry to inform you mankind, but the time of the Gods are over. The titans shall rise again. I am Perses, the Titan of destruction." He said, his voice detached from himself, booming throughout the kingdom.
The people of Epirus all fell on their knees. A third prayed to Zeus to help them, another third feel into complete despair, and the cowards ran forward from the citadel gates towards Perses. The began praising Perses.
"Please, Lord Perses. Spare us and we will do thy biding." The people said.
"I would love to enslave you all but, I have orders to kill everything..."
Still inside the crater, Perses raised his right foot off of the ground and stomped onto a nearby structure within the city grounds. The power behind the stomp created a earthquake that shook the city even more, but the fatality was the release of a torrent of fire and heat when his foot made contact with the ground which swept over the surrounding area, setting the entire kingdom of Epirus ablaze, incinerating the people, burning the stone buildings and making them crumble.
