What would happen if Naruto opened all eight gates

1.The Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon), located in the brain. Removes the restraints of the brain. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus.
2.The Gate of Healing (休門, Kyūmon; English TV "The Gate of Rest"), located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body.
3.The Gate of Life (生門, Seimon), located on the spinal cord. Allows the user to use the Reverse Lotus. The increased blood flow turns the skin red.
4.The Gate of Pain (傷門, Shōmon), located on the spinal cord. Increases the user's speed and power. May cause muscle tissue to tear on use.
5.The Gate of Limit (杜門, Tomon; English TV "The Gate of Closing"), per above. Located in the abdomen.
6.The Gate of View (景門, Keimon; English TV "The Gate of Joy"), per above. Located in the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. Opening of this gate releases such large amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user.
7.The Gate of Wonder (驚門, Kyōmon; English TV "The Gate of Shock"), per above. Located below the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. Opening of this gate releases so much blue chakra that it forces back surrounding water. In the video games, allows the user to perform the Eternal Chaotic Dance.
8.The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate.

It is said that opening all gates will kill you because of the strain on your body. But in Naruto's case the fox's chakra he has a faster healing rate. So would he be able to heal fast enough to keep ahead of the damage? What would Naruto be able to do if he had unlimited access to his body and chakra?

With the chakra blocked of from the beast I think he has to use it himself to heal him. Either way with his amount of chakra opening all 8 gates would be amazing, if his body could even handle that much chakra with falling apart.

I have wondered about what would happen to Orochimaru if he unlocked the 8 gates...couldnt he just puke up a new body after he destroys the first with 8 gates? He has taken hits that should have killed him and just spit out a fresh body.

If the fox was healing Naruto while he used the gates his life would be severely shortened because of the rate of reproduction of the cells. I would say it would probally take of 10 years of his life

I don't think the fox would be able to heal such a severely strained/damaged organ. look at the ankle, the fox isn't healing that any time soon.

when sasuke and naruto faught at the valley of the end sasuke put a hole right through narutos chest and the kyuubi healed it. It may have missed his vital organs, but it was a hole straight through his chest, meaning through ribs. It was all healed by the kyuubi. Im sure the kyuubi could heal his ankle, if he wasnt locked down by narutos new sealing tech.

It's not that the Kyuubi saved Naruto, it was that Sasuke didn't hit any of his vital organs but just damaged Naruto, Sasuke couldn't kill his best friend in order to obtain his MS. I guess Kyuubi did help in healing and saving Naruto but only because Sasuke couldn't kill Naruto. but a hole in the chest is nothing compared to opening the 8 celestial gates.

way to completely miss the point...

the point is it was a hole straight through his body and the fox healed it in a matter of minutes. The fox would be able to heal his broken ankle without a doubt if it wasnt sealed away with narutos new seal.

His ankle hasn't healed because it is not life threatening. When we look back to Naruto vs Sasuke Naruto's head gets smashed into the ground and appears lifeless. But the kyuubi revived him even after such a huge blow that would send his spine through his body (amongst other injuries) if there was that detail.
It seems the kyuubi only heals Naruto if his life is at jeopardy. If Naruto dies the kyuubi dies, therefore he must save Naruto when his life is at risk.
So, to answer your question, he would probably be able to revive Naruto. And, after all, he is the main character, he wouldn't die so easily.
