I'll tell you what I told the other 499 guys: Maybe, to obtain the EMS, you need to ADD something from the other MS, NOT replace it... So, for example, maybe you add the lense of the second MS on the first one, like a contact lence...

You just have to replace the eye and there is no evidence supporting your theory.

From Itachi's story, the symbolic demon representing MS/EMS, and EMS being a mixture of the two MS, the implication seems to be that the two set of eyes are merged, not simply exchanged. So only a single brother would be able to gain EMS.

Have I missed out a certain criteria for obtaining the EMS. Because as far as we are aware, Itachi's eyes were basically blind at the moment of his death, and Sasuke's looked as if he was in the same condition just before the transplant.

Where I'm going with this is, both set of eyes were in extremely bad condition, considering eye sight. Now Sasuke has Itachi's eyes and has obtained EMS (big whoop)

So why didn't Madara just swap eyes with Izuna. Then 2x EMS users.

Or is this just "plot no jutsu"

What I always wondered, they act like izuna died after he gave his eyes to Madara. Couldn't izuna have Just got regular sharingan from someone else? Or even byakugan or just normal eyes so he could see?
