The easy way for EMS. Why not?

Have I missed out a certain criteria for obtaining the EMS. Because as far as we are aware, Itachi's eyes were basically blind at the moment of his death, and Sasuke's looked as if he was in the same condition just before the transplant.

Where I'm going with this is, both set of eyes were in extremely bad condition, considering eye sight. Now Sasuke has Itachi's eyes and has obtained EMS (big whoop)

So why didn't Madara just swap eyes with Izuna. Then 2x EMS users.

Or is this just "plot no jutsu"

Madara was the first person to awaken the ems so i doubt he knew that taking his brothers MS will give him EMS. He took izunas MS thinking it would replace his MS with izunas MS but to his surprise he gains EMS that doesnt lose light and another unknown power. This is what itachi says when he fought sasuke at the uchiha hideout. Im sure if madara knew about EMS then he would have swapped with his brother. Its either that or because madara completely lost the light in his MS and it wouldnt work for izuna if he swapped with izuna.

imho, If I'm not mistaken, Madara went completely blind, Itachi while blind as a bat, didn't completely destroy his sight.

Hmmm your right. I never really thought about this part in the anime I was just excited on seeing Sasuke fight Itachi. Now that I think of it that Madara and his bro didn't know anything about EMS. He just knew that if he took his brothers eyes he would see again and his brother agreed to that. I think this is plot no jutsu or maybe Kishi was lazy.

I think you have to swap ms of a close blood relative. Like a family member. I think Tobi said this when he was talking to sauske in the cave before he failed to retrieve the 8 tails and its host. Or something like it around then in the maga

And itachi wasn't blind he had some kind of disease.

With all due respect, please tell me you all aren't this stupid. It isn't "plot-no-jutsu," in the manga it clearly states by transplanting the MS of a sibling you gain eternal vision. Their vision isn't appended to your current vision. Your eyesight is simply restored and it doesn't diminish anymore. Hence Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

i thought the same with izuna and madara changing their eyes too

I think that you don't plug out your own MS while plugging your brother's in. you somehow fuse it with the other, thus making it a combination of two eyes.

if that was the case it would be imppossible for both brothers to obtain EMS and it would clear up the plot-hole of "lost eye sight."

it doesn't matter if both itachi's and sasuke's MS were about to lose their sight (perhaps they even did lose their sight). because even if they are seperetly blind when two eyes merge they give birth to something new.

that's the most logical answer I could come up with on this subject

Like i said in my previous post, madara was the 1st to awaken the EMS and had no knowledge about it, he had no intention if gaining it he just wanted to restore his eye sight by gaining another MS but to his surprise it became a EMS.

You maybe right but remember the Stone Tablet in Naka Shrine which contains the Clan's secrets it even tell you how to obtain the M.S. and probably will tell you how to obtain the E.M.S. or even the Rinnegan.

it would be a plothole if itachi had taken sasuke's eyes and gotten ems too.

i was told, when i had made a similar thread, that madara's eyes had completely sealed whereas itachi's had not yet done so.
