The Eastern Mire

The Eastern Mire is well known for its varied vegetation, with many types of medicinal herbs being found in the region. At the center of the Eastern Mire is a tremendous tree, the roots of which extend far below ground and through the entirety of the area. No one know where the tree came from, but its boughs cover the area in a perpetual dusk, even on the brightest of days. Beneath the trunk of the enormous tree is a village thriving with people, living off the land and its bounty, including a special syrup from the tree itself.

Traveling thru, Vegeta couldn't believe his byakugans, as he peered beneath the ground at the hidden village that seemed to be thriving. What a peculiar sight. After telling Uta what he was seeing, they continued onward reaching the gulf and traversed acrossed it..

Reaching the Eastern Mire, Kurama gazed at the great tree in its center. She took in the sights, smells, and the feel of the vegetation around her and bore a smile bigger than any smile she had worn in quite some time. She was home. But there was still no sight of Tigrerra or the other white tigers....when suddenly a small flash of white and black zoomed past Kurama in the distance...and moments later, a great roar could be heard further south.

Tigrerra....I'm coming old friend! And with that she got down on all fours like the feral beast she was inside and sprinted in that direction.

Continuing custom mission: Find a healer and convince her/him to heal you. (B)
____________________________

As Grey and Aki left the Southern Mire, the landscape transformed from the dark murky green of the swamp to the vibrant, fresh green of the Eastern Mire. The enormous tree loomed ahead, igniting hope in Grey as he saw it. As they approached the village Grey pulled Aki's fur back, signalling her to halt. "You are too big to go through Aki. I'll take it from here" said Grey in a hopeful voice. Aki was even more concerned than usual and didn't want to comply at first. But she was indeed big, towering the same height as her friend Katsuyo, she realized she couldn't do much inside. The screams of all the villagers who looked terrified by the mare sight of her, made her comply. "Well atleast we made quite an entrance. Hopefully no one would dare mess with you Grey-san." - she spoke with her mild voice. Aki helped Grey get down on the ground, smiled at him and disappeared in a poof of smoke.

Grey stepped into the village, grimacing as pain radiated through his body. The people’s fearful gazes and muttered words were overwhelming. He needed to stay focused. He spotted a man who appeared less intimidated. His stance was calm amidst the chaos. Grey stepped forward. “Please,” grey coughed up some blood before he could continue his sentence. "I need a healer." The man's face did not change. He took a single look at Grey before he continued watching over at the horizon.

Grey reached into his pocket, fingers brushing against his coins. “I can pay,” he offered urgently, as he reached out attempting to give the stranger his money. The man’s eyes shifted for a brief moment, before going back towards the horizon. Maybe two seconds passed before the man sighted and grabbed the money. It appeared as if he really didn't want to move from his spot, but coin was coin. He put the coins in his pocket and with a steady arm, put Grey’s arm over his shoulder, helping him to walk.

As they moved through the town, the people kept staying still, looking at the bloody stranger. Their glances shifting from Grey, to the guy who was helping him. The man simply nodded to the onlookers, signalling them to go about their business. Much to Grey's surprise, they did.

Navigating through narrow paths, they finally halted at the entrance of a small hut. The man, ever so silent, simply pointed at the door as he gently eased Grey down on the ground. Grey nodded as he knocked three times on the door. As he waited for the door to open he glanced one last time at the stranger who was now walking back from where they came from.

The door opened. Grey stepped into the dimly lit hut, where rich scent of herbs enveloped him. The interior was cozy. The hut looked much better on the inside than on the outside. His attention was soon drawn to a striking young woman who was sitting on the ground with her legs crossed. “Who are you?” she asked; her tone cold but inviting.

"My name is Grey" he responded as he coughed even more blood. "Sorry. I'm in dire need of healing. I can pay." He reached for the coins in his pocket, offering them to her.

The woman shook her head, her expression softening slightly. “I don’t accept payment. I only help those with goodness in their hearts.”

Grey was hoping for a simple transaction. This was something he hadn't encounter before; his money were always as good as anyone's. “But I am good! I’ve protected my village, fought for my loved ones…”

“Words are easy,”
she interrupted, her voice firm yet gentle. “I need to see the truth of your heart. Allow me to look into your soul.”

Initially hesitant, Grey considered her offer. Doubts tinged his thoughts. In his heart, he knew he was a good man, but as any man he had done bad things. He had killed, most recently stole, killed again, but he had also helped a lot of people. He tried to recall all his good and bad deeds, even attempted to weigh them. Had he truly done more good than harm in this world? A drop of blood from his shoulder fell on the ground, breaking the silence. He quickly came back, realizing he didn't have a choice. He took a deep breath and nodded uncertainly.

The woman gestured for him to sit on the ground before her. "Look into my eyes" she instructed softly. As he complied, her eyes turned crimson red. Each tomoe spun with a mesmerizing rhythm, and before Grey could say anything, he was already in her genjutsu.

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40 ( Equal Cost for Each Additional Turn Sustained )
Damage points: 30 - 80
Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Sharingan. It has also been shown to be performed through the Sharingan's higher evolutions: the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Sharingan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being difficult to break in comparison due to the sinister chakra powering them. When utilized through the Mangekyo Sharingan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal an additional 40 damage. However, the time dilation effects and similar effects/ability of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. When used through the EMS, these illusions deal an addition 50 damage. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. Controlling a target's abilities in limited to Summoning and other none Creation/Ninja entities. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan can forcibly controls Basic and Ancient Summoning's actions as long as they sustain this technique. MS can affect up to Mythical Contracts while EMS can effect even Legendary Summonings. This control is limited to the ability to control their physical movements with limited access to their ninjutsu, using only skills related to the Summoning itself.

In the event of Bijuu, Mangekyo Sharingan users are able to use their MS to cast powerful enough Genjutsu that even Tailed Beasts cannot break their hosts from it, being ensnarled as well. These Genjutsu can also seize control of a Tailed Beast by temporarily severing its connection to the host without the need for eye contact. If the Jinchuriki has not entered any Chakra Shroud state or higher, the user can cast a powerful Genjutsu that severs their connection and prevents access to the Bijuu as well as any of it's skills for 3 turns. Should a Chakra Shroud or Incomplete Jinchuriki transformation occur, the user is capable of preventing full access to it's Bijuu Skills for 3 turns by suppressing it. This presents itself in an inability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb variants, a Bijuu Skill such as Sand or Coral as well as access higher transformations. Should the user have EMS, this control is extended to blocking access for double the time and should a Complete Transformation occur, the user is capable of suppressing it's form and ending the Transformation in it's entirety and forces the health drawbacks to trigger as well as a reduced max health and chakra by 25% from fatigue. However, Bijuu Suppression can only be done by sustaining the technique at the cost of 2 moves per turn and prevents Sharingan Genjutsu for 5 turns.
Note: While powerful, the effects of Sharingan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only.
Note: When used in the NW, this can be used to tame a wild Tailed Beast and allow the user to summon it in an enraged state for 4 turns, only being capable of using Sharingan and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu during this time, Ninjutsu being barred while controlling the target. This beast is summoned at max powers and has access to it's Skills and one Bijuu Pathway, determined through Official Roll in the NRP Discord. This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World.
Note: Can only be used once per turn. MS and EMS use can only be done once every 4 turns.
Note: Requires Eye Contact and activation of 3 Tomoe and higher Sharingan.

Suddenly, the world around Grey faded away, replaced by a whirlwind of memories. All of the scenes were flickering extremely fast - some were joyful, others were painful. In some memories he was helping a kid find shelter in a snow storm; in another he was killing a man, while trying to steal a medallion. He saw moments of bravery, moments of fear, moments of laughter, and moments where he was simply a cunt.

With a final flash, the memories ended, and Grey found himself back in the hut. The woman's eyes turned blue once again. “Your heart has endured much, yet it still beats for good,” she concluded, a soft smile gracing her lips. “You are worthy of my help.”

Relief flooded through him as she stepped forward. Grey felt as if he can finally let go. He felt as if he is in good hands. He closed his eyes as green aura started emanating from the woman's hands, before passing out on the ground. "Sleep well, kind soul. You'll be back on your way to your sister in no time" whispered the beautiful woman as the green aura around her hands intensified.

Mission: Experiment with very advanced ninjutsu (S)
_____________________

While Grey's body was healed by the mysterious lady of the Uchiha clan, his mind remained burdened. The encounter with the deadly samurai had left Grey questioning his skills as a shinobi. Was he as strong as he thought he was? There was so much more to learn, so much more training to be done, before he could truly protect the ones he loved. Grey felt a renewed sense of purpose surging through him - he needed to get stronger; much stronger.

He was standing on a hill at the outskirts of the Eastern Mire, looking at the big tree. It was already dark, but he couldn't stop thinking of his older sensei - Crutch, and his mastery of the wind element. Perhaps the greatest wind user, Crutch had managed to manipulate even the Atmospheric Pressure around us, compressing the very air people breathed into a deadly weapon. Grey had watched his sensei for years, and now had finally come the time to master the same element himself.

"Alright Grey. Let's do it" He was indeed talking to himself, but he didn't care. "Okay let's see. Atmospheric pressure is the weight of air pressing down on the surface. So what do I do? How do I turn wind into that? Grey kept pacing back and forth, trying to remember the drunken nights with his sensei where he would explain everything about the element. Suddenly a memory of his drunk sensei appeared before him. In it, his sensei, holding a glass of beer was saying quite loudly "Mate, it’s basically an advanced version of compressed wind"

Grey smiled as he remembered those words. It's been so long since he last saw his sensei, he could barely remember how he looked like. But words were eternal. Realizing "all he had to do" was compress wind, he started changeling his Futon chakra, until a gust of wind swirled around his hand. "Okay now for the hard part." thought Grey as he began to try to compress the wind chakra. Easier said than done. The added wind chakra expanded the gust of wind rapidly and severely, knocking Grey back as he lost control of his own technique. "Well I didn't expect it to be easy" mumbled Grey as he got up and kept on going.

He once again focused wind chakra in his hand, forming another small gust of wind. This time he tried slowly adding more wind chakra. He saw the gust slowly increasing in size, but not nearly as rapidly and abruptly as before. While this was a start, Grey realized that in order to manipulate the Atmospheric Pressure, he needed to add extreme chakra pressure to compress the wind, instead of allowing it to increase in size. As he tried to compress it, he sent out too much chakra and the gust of wind yet again expanded rapidly, once again sending him on the ground. "Aaaghh!" He screamed in frustration, but wasn't done yet; not even close.

Grey paced back and forth, exhaustion creeping into his limbs as the night began to settle around him. He tried, and tried, and tried and each time the result was the same - his ass on the ground, bruised and painful.

He was about to call it a night, before he saw the light green colour, characteristic of the Atmospheric Pressure release, starting to appear as he compressed his wind technique. His eyes widened as he struggled to accept the reality of his success. A tear of joy could be seen, starting to drip from his eye, before the technique collapsed once more, only this time with devastating force. The blast sent him probably ten meters back, before landing on the stem of a tree, hitting his head quite badly and losing consciousness.

Grey woke up, unaware of how much time had passed since his technique backfired. He got up and realized blood was dripping from the back of his head. He didn't care. In his eyes this was a massive success. Though he could feel a certain ingredient missing in the whole equation. Ever since he was a kid, he learnt best under severe circumstances. He was lazy and being in a "no room for error" kind of situations always triggered the survival instincts in him. So a thought creeped in his mind. What if he could replicate the danger, but make it really really real? "Yes this might work."

Kuchiyose no Jutsu

(Kuzuri Kuchyose no Jutsu:Aki)-Wolverine Summoning Technique:Aki
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: Aki is a female wolverine about the same size as Katsuyu, she is very kind-hearted and very eager to help those close to her whenever possible. She has thick scarlet fur, sharp fangs and very powerfull claws. Aki has a wind affinity wich lets her use wind techniques up to A-rank and for techniques that need hand seal she ''charges'' up the techniques in her mouth the same amount of time it will take to perform the hand seals. If Aki happens to use Atsugai (Pressure Damage) in battle, insted of letting the blast explode right in front of her she can blow it out more, missile-like but once in contact with the target it will take the same effects as a normal Atsugai keeping herself safe from her own attack. Also Aki has a very sharp sense of hearing, she's able to hear the slightest sound and know inmediatly where did it came from.
Note: Aki can stay in the field for 4 turns.
Note: Can only be summoned once per battle.
Note: Must have signed the Wolverine Contract held by Ryuji.

The majestic scarlet wolverine appeared once again before him. “Right!” he exclaimed suddenly, his eyes widening as he snapped his fingers. “Aki! I need you!”

Aki’s fierce gaze locked onto Grey, concern flaring in her golden eyes. “Grey, what’s wrong? You look hurt,” she said, her voice low and protective.

"Now. Please don't interrupt me Aki and let me finish. I am trying to master the Atmospheric Pressure element of master Crutch." Aki's eyes widened with shock and wanted to say something but Grey quickly continued: "I know I can do it and I want you to believe in me. Sensei always knew I can master the element and the time has come. You know how I only ever learned when he beat the crap out of me? Well this is why you are here. I need you to attack me with your wind techniques - like actual combat. It’s life or death training; I have to learn under extreme conditions.”

Aki hesitated, a flicker of worry flashing across her face. “But what if you get hurt? I can’t bear to see you harmed again!”

“I won't get stronger if you don't push me!”
Grey argued, his voice urgent. “Please, Aki. I need your help to survive this!”

With a reluctant nod, Aki agreed, albeit with an anxious expression. “If that’s what you want, I will help.”

Positioning herself fifteen meters away, Aki prepared herself, focusing her wind chakra for her technique. “Get ready, Grey!”

Taking a deep breath, Grey focused. “I can do this!” he declared, readying himself for the blast that would come.

"Fūton: Atsugai" Aki shouted, unleashing a powerful blast of wind that thundered toward him.

(Fūton: Atsugai) - Wind Style: Pressure Damage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user does the Ram handseal and inhales, kneading his chakra into his lungs, exhaling a huge blast of wind that levels anything in its path. Can cause major damage and requires a sufficient chakra level to perform. This large wind blast moves in tremendous speed and cannot be controlled. If the user gets caught in it, it will harm him also.

Grey focused his wind chakra, trying to compress it into Atmospheric Pressure. Its light green colours began to emerge as he punched the air in front of him, releasing the energy at the wind blast. But the moment the wave of wind collided with his own pressure release, he immediately felt the limits of his ability. The pressure he conjured wasn’t enough - a pulse of his chakra was released, but it only partially protected him. The blast hit, sending him flying backward, crashing into the ground with striking force that rattled his bones and left him gasping for air.

“Aaggghh!” he gasped, pushing himself up on trembling arms. He could feel bruises forming on his body, the sting of pain humming through him. Aki stood there in silence, not knowing how to react. Tears dropping down her scarlet fur as she saw her master in that battered state. "AGAIN AKI," screamed Grey as he kept walking towards her. She didn't comply. Aki kept on crying, but Grey was relentless. "AGAAAAAAAIN!" his words echoed throughout the valley.

"Fūton: Atsugai" whispered Aki as a downpour of tears flooded her face. Another blast of wind coming Grey's way. As the gale approached, he punched the air Infront of him, releasing his atmospheric pressure into a giant vortex that quickly grew and collided with the wind. The spinning compressed wind turned into a massive tornado, so large he couldn't even see Aki. The tornado was heading towards his dearest friend, and there was now nothing he could do about it. "Akiii, RUN" shouted Grey in desperation.

(Kiastsu: Kadou Genkotsu) Atmospheric Pressure Release: Vortex Fist
Type: Offense
Rank: A
Range: Short/Middle/Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user will concentrate large amounts of atmospheric pressure chakra in his hand, then he will punch toward his target and release a vortex that instantly grows into a massive tornado.

Aki, seeing the building force, felt a pulse of fear. At the moment of his triumph, she leaped left, attempting to avoid the impeding crash with the tornado, but the sheer size of the technique was too much even for her. She got caught in the blast.

.

As everything settled, Grey noticed Aki laying on the ground, blood dripping all over her. “Aki!” he shouted, fear slicing through him like a knife. Without hesitation, he sprinted toward her, dread flooding his senses. “Aki, no, no, no!” his voice trembled as he gently placed his hands on her shoulders, his heart racing. “Please, stay with me!”

Aki's golden eyes opened, pain flickering across her features as she struggled to focus on him. “Grey… I’m… I’m okay, but it hurts…” she gasped, her voice strained. "Don't you worry about me. Pop will heal me."

“I’m so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen.”
- his voice trembling as tears started dripping across his face. "I didn’t consider the consequences. I hurt you, Aki. I should have never put you in that position”

"There now.."
Aki tried to comfort him. "At least you did it. You mastered master Crutch's jutsu. And I'll be fine. I'm going now. Till next time, Grey-san."

A poof of smoke and Aki was gone, leaving Grey alone in the cold night. He had mastered the technique, but at what cost? He only wanted power to protect his loved ones, and now he used it to hurt them. He closed his eyes and made a promise to himself: to never again allow ambition to hurt the ones he loved. Power was not meant to destroy, but to protect!

Mission: Save a large community from danger (S)

BANG

A large explosion tore through the silent night, waking the residents of the Eastern Mire. Startled, Grey shot upright. He was dreaming of something nice, but whatever it was, was now gone. An uneasy feeling settled in his gut, as a second explosion tore through the neighbour house, sending debris and broken glass through Grey's window. Instinctively, Grey raised his arms to shield his face, but a jagged piece of debris caught his hand, ripping through flesh and forcing a pained gasp from his lips. "Well now I'm angry" said to himself Grey as he got up and left the house.

“What’s happening?” he yelled, scanning the faces of frightened villagers around him. In the midst of the chaos, he noticed a familiar face - the stunning Uchiha lady who had saved him a few days back. He ran to her. "Hey what's going on?" he asked.

"What does it look like?!" she screamed at him, frustration in her voice. "We are under attack! You want to repay me for healing you? Find the people responsible for this and neutralize them. Leave at least one alive, so we could interrogate them. This is a peaceful community. We need to know why is this happening to us." Another explosion nearby interrupted the young kunoichi. "I'll care for the wounded, now GO!" They both nodded at each other; sharing one last look before going off in different directions.

Grey’s mind raced, trying to think of a strategy as he navigated through the chaos. First step was locating the intruders. From what it looked like, they were using long ranged Fire style techniques to attack the village from all sides. Their intent was obvious - total destruction of the city. "Not on my watch" whispered Grey as he closed his eyes for a moment, focusing his chakra in the sky. Delicate snowflakes began to fall softly around the village, settling on the ground and creating a serene blanket over the destruction. But this was no ordinary snow; it allowed Grey to sense chakra. A useful tool to locate enemies.

Grey noticed chakras of the villagers flickering out, one after another, like candles extinguishing in the darkness. Panic surged within him as he realized the urgency of their predicament. There were six distinct chakra signatures standing ominously at the west wall of the village. Around these six points, were the most extinguished chakras, allowing Grey to deduce this was where the enemies were. Quickly forming a single hand seal, Grey created a clone of himself. "You help carry the injured to the healing hut. I will take care of the rest." Without hesitation, they broke apart, one racing toward the inner city while Grey darted toward the west wall.

(Hyōton: Chakra Sensing Yuki) Ice Release: Chakra Sensing Snow
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: -
Description: The user will make snow to fall from the sky and will use it to sense the opponents location. After 3 turns the terrain will be covered by a layer of snow.

(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (total chakra is divided by the final number of clones plus the user)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

“I can’t let them take anyone else,” he muttered under his breath, readying himself for what lay ahead. As he reached the base of the wall he could see the invaders. He didn't know them. Nothing about them stood out, but they had to die - they were hurting the village that had helped him when he was in a dark place.

Grey focused at the snow that was falling, cooling down the moisture in the high atmosphere. Suddenly a snow storm would envelop the surrounding area, hindering visibility and the sense of hearing to everyone caught in it. While Grey wasn't immune to the effects of the storm, he was used to the cold and would fight better than most in this harsh environment. Furthermore the snow was still infused with his chakra, allowing him to sense everyone in it.

Focusing his attention on moving fluidly, Grey took off, climbing the wall and drawing out a kunai. He could not see his opponents, but he could sense their locations. He would imagine they were warry of a foreign presence. After all snow storms were quite untypical in this part of the world. He didn't care. He wanted them to be afraid. With silent steps he closed the gap to the first attacker, sneaking from behind - a single thrust of the kunai in the neck was all it took. Warm blood rushed from the neck vain as Grey silently let the body of the intruder fall down on the snow. He looked around. No one had seemed to notice him. Onto the next target.

Body after body fell down one after the other. The sixth intruder was all that was left. Grey made his way silently towards him. He could feel the victory; the sense of having helped his community was feeling him with joy, when suddenly the ground beneath him ripped open. Another shinobi emerged from underground, with a fist extended towards Grey's chin. It was so sudden, there was no avoiding it. The uppercut sent Grey flying over the edge of the wall, falling outside the city walls. He hadn't lost conciousness, and even mid air attempted to make sense of that had just happened. The man was underground, so the snow hadn't touched him - therefore Grey couldn't sense him. The punch was no ordinary punch. From the ground to the chin was about 1.8 meters - not enough momentum to send him flying so hard. The user must have used some sort of earth technique to harden himself while being underground. Nevertheless, this wasn't over. Thankfully the snow on the ground cushoned Grey's fall. He could now sense his opponent. This had to be the mastermind behind the attack and was now coming for Grey.

(Kyousei Hyouton no Jutsu) Greater Ice Technique
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: Similar to the original, weaker technique, the Greater Ice technique allows the user to, by making a simple hand seal (Ram) produce walls, pillars, etc of snow or ice. The ice constructs are rather simple in nature but resilient and strong, with the user being able to materialize them anywhere short range (though from that point they can grow up to long range) from him from the moisture in the air. He can, however, use any proportional water source within short-long range of him to produce said constructs. These can also be directed and propelled as projectiles towards targets. In both cases, the size and possible uses are limited only by the users will, chakra and skill. It also allows the user to cool down existing moisture in the high atmosphere to bring down a snow storm, similar to the original technique yet stronger and faster acting. This snow storm will not directly harm anyone but is useful to cover the field in snow rather quickly (2 turns) and to hinder visibility, sense of touch and hearing on anyone caught inside. The user is not immune to these effects though and must spend 15 chakra points per turn to sustain the blizzard, while becoming unable to mold other elements than Water, Wind or Ice.

(Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:20
Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Best tactic is when used with Hidden Mist jutsu. The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.

Meanwhile, the clone was in the midst of the chaos, helping out an old lady find shelter. He had created several ice domes, to provide covers to the injured. Thankfully the real Grey had distracted the opponents and the clone could now begin transporting the wounded. "Alright listen up." said the clone, as he got out of the iglu. "Their attacks have subsided, so now is the time to move as far east as possible. The Uchiha lady can heal the wounded. Any man that can walk, help the injured to the healing hut."

Everyone seemed to be on the move. Suddenly the clone spotted a young woman nursing a small child in her arms, not moving. Clone Grey knelt beside them. “Is anyone hurt? Can you move?” he asked, genuinely concerned. The woman nodded, holding her child close. “My husband was helping defend the village, but he… he hasn’t come back!” Her voice trembled as anxiety filled her eyes. The clone put a hand on her shoulder, reassuring her. “We’ll find him. First, let's make sure you and your child stay safe. I can help!” The woman smiled; hope returning to her, as she got up with her baby and started moving towards safety. Clone Grey looked up to the west, contemplating weather or not to go help the real him. The cries of the children around him, swayed him otherwise. This was his mission. "Alright let's move it" he screamed as he joined a man to help him carry an old dude.

Grey's vision blurred as he staggered back to his feet, shaking off the disorientation from the fall. A glow of orange illuminated the air above him. A blazing fire ball was coming his way, melting through the blizzard with rapid speed. Pushing through the pain, Grey jumped back, narrowly avoiding the fire, which had now melted most of the snow around. He found himself seated in a puddle formed by the melting snow. A strange blue hue was reflecting on the surface of the water, capturing his attention. He looked up and immediately realized what it was - the unmistakable crackle of lightning coursing towards the liquid. While the lightning wasn't directed at him, the water was everywhere so his opponent didn't even have to aim. The shockwave of electrical energy surged through the water. The sudden jolt rocked his body, and Grey gasped as the electricity coursed through him, seizing his muscles in a numbing grip. Pain shot through his body, leaving him momentarily immobilized as he struggled to regain control.

“Didn’t think we’d catch you off guard, did you?” a mocking voice called from behind. The two remaining ninjas emerged from the shadows, having concealed themselves until this critical moment. Before Grey could say a word, one of the attackers slammed his knee in his face. Grey's head hit the freezing water, unable to fully grasp what was happening around him.

The two ninjas towered over him, their shadows engulfing him as they exchanged taunts. "Pathetic" The man spat on Grey's face as the other one continued: "Let's kill this weakling already. We need to find the bitch"

Grey blinked slowly. So they had a deeper purpose for doing this. Who were they after? Were they after the Uchiha lady who had healed him? They must have been. She was probably the only ninja of importance in the village. As they got closer to Grey to deliver the killing blow, Grey having now mastered the Atmospheric Pressure, released a ferocious current of AP from every chakra node in his system, turning the attackers to dust. It would have been better if he left someone alive to interrogate, but he couldn't help it. His life was on the line.

Now the village was safe again. Grey closed his eyes as exhaustion creeped in. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, marveling at the snow, reminiscing of his home.

Mission (B) Torture a suspect
__________

Grey was slowly returning to the village after defeating the attackers. While he was moving slowly and painfully, his mind was racing. Who were the culprits? What did they want with the Uchiha lady. It was about time he asked for her name. As he was walking back, his clone dispersed, transferring the information of what had happened within the inner village to Grey. He had heard about cognitive dissonance, but was about to experience. He was feeling both warmth and anger at the same time. He was glad his clone had done so much to protect the villagers, but was extremely angry at the attackers for what they had done. He clenched his fist in anger, tears coming down his cheeks, filled with rage. Suddenly his eyes widened. The young Uchiha had lady had caught an intruder and had immobilized him in her tent. Hope. Hope there could be justice after all. He mustered through the pain and rushed with all his speed at the healing hut. It was about to become the torturing hut. Nothing would stop him from retrieving information about this heinous deid.

.

Grey busted through the door of the healing hut, slamming it against the wall. There was the attacker, under the influence of the woman's genjutsu. He stopped in his tracks. "Did you get anything out of him" asked Grey in a rush.

"His mind seems to be shielded even from my illusions." said the woman as her Sharingan reverted to her normal eyes. "Genjutsu won't give us answers. Will have to..."

Before she could complete her sentence, Grey pushed her aside, slamming a kunai just above the man's knee. He screamed as the pain broke him free of the genjutsu. "Aaarghhh. What the **** did you do... Arrghh"

"Start talking. Who sent you? Why were you here?"
- another kunai was pushed in the opposite knee, this time slowly; Grey almost enjoying the sweet taste of justice.

The man's scream echoed throughout the village. He was panting, taking short but deep breaths. "Ok. Ok. I'll talk" - he said whisperingly. Grey got closer to be able to hear him. As they got face to face the man spat in Grey's face. He continued laughingly "I'm already dead. Why would I abandon my comrades?"

Grey took a step back, taking a towel from the wall and cleaned his face. As he lowered the towel and revealed his face, to the man's horror he witnessed an evil grin that sent shivers down his spine. "Well there are good deaths and bad deaths. Just remember you chose this."

Grey stepped out of the tent and went to the house he was staying to grab his backpack. The Uchiha woman tried saying something but Grey shushed her to be quiet. He was doing this and she felt that from the look of his face.

He returned with his backpack, his evil grin was gone and his face showed little to no emotion at all. He took out a needle, quite thin and long. A gift from a boy named Haku he once knew. He pressed the needle next to the finger tip of the man, but didn't pierce his skin. Instead he started talking, his voice calm as ever. "The needle is just a few centimetres from the most sensitive nerve endings in the entire body. That's why acupuncturists avoid placing needles anywhere near this spot. Because opening the nerve ending even slightly would cause burning pain. So a twelve centimetres needle, being driven across the entire nerve, would result in the most excruciating pain known to man." As he was finishing the sentence, he drove the needle. Deep. (like if you love prison break)

The man's teeth clinched as he started shivering. He was clearly trying not to show Grey just in how much agony he was, but soon started screaming with all his throat. His body started shivering even more, the chair he was strapped on began rocking. Cold sweat dripping from him as he begged for mercy. Grey stood silent. He had chosen this.

Soon, his body started to shut down, his eyes rolled revealing nothing but white as he started losing conciousness. Grey shrouded his hand with lightning and slammed his palm against the man's chest, quickly jump starting his hearth again. Another shiver of pain and scream. This was more than anyone could take. The man started blabbing, tears dripping down like rivers. "Paid.. to capture.. Irina Uchiha... The rest are at...Kamisutari. About.. 100 more." His voice was getting ever so slow and quiet with every word. Grey yet again didn't care. He slammed the needle even deeper to wake him up. Grey's chakra was different, darker like never before.

He was going to torture the man for many more hours, but Irina intervened. A kunai flew across the room, landing on the man's chest. Pinpoint accuracy straight through the hearth. "That's enough."

Grey looked at her, angrily and left the room, slamming the door behind him without saying a word. He had work to do.
