the dislike of 3D

all this new hype about things becoming 3D and i feel like the only one who doesnt find 3D that amazing.

personaly i dont like it, it does ruin some movies and now alot of people are judging movies to be good or bad on if theyre 3D or not 3D.

in my oppinion its just a phase thats shouldn't last that much longer and something better will replace it.

just want to hear your oppinions on the matter.

Im expecting to be flamed so please restrain from doing it.
If you post for the sake of posting without a real reason for doing so just try and show some self control

It depends. Some movie like James Cameroon's ava, the 3d is amazing. But some movies, 3D is just a gimmick.

I prefer Digital.

i hate 3D in everything but good animation (avatar or toy story) too expensive and most of times they fail to render "real people movies" in a way its worth ur money
plus after 1h and a 30m with those glasses my nose hurts maybe its just the ones they give here x[
too expensive and not worth it in 90% of the cases (Example : Conan the barbarian...3d?wish i had my money back....)

I don't like 3D, I find it pretty useless. In the least I really don't see why they make "normal" movies into 3D. There are only a few moments when it was cool to see something in 3D, like in Transformers 3 there was a scene they were sliding through a falling building. Seeing that in 3D was awesome and when I saw Tron there was a scene they zoomed in from the back through an army of soldiers. That was cool too, but for 95% I completely forget that I'm watching something in 3D, I find it more annoying than anything else.

On top of that most of the movies in my country are logically subbed, but 3D subs are really a pain in the ass. Not to mention people who wear glasses have it not easy either as those 3D glasses are already annoying.

I really don't get what people find so special about it. For instance Clash of the Titans was a complete fail to see that in 3D.

I just hate the fact of wearing the glasses, i prefer to watch movies in standard HD or Blu-ray. I don't mind playing games in 3d but on my 3DS, i always have it off and just use itto show people. 3DS was a fail, 3d tv was a fail.

Only thing i've seen good in 3d was that dildo flying across the screen on Jackass 3d lol that was epic.

In my opinion, 3D is a fad. Its okay when implemented correctly like with certain movies that are geared towards 3D (like 3D animated pictures) or with the Nintendo 3DS, but other than that its just a gimmick used in order to sell stuff. Who needs a phone that can shoot 3D movies? Not everything needs to be in 3D. If I want to watch a soccer game in 3D I'll go down to the park and play soccer. ^_^

Its just useless U_U If the 3D was used well, but no.... Its just the idea is for the things get out of the screen and i just saw that in animation movies and comercials (yeah comercials....sad....but true) i rly liked in monsters vs aliens by dreamworks at the beggining that guy plaiyng with the ball ^^ In most of the cases is useless, in conan i didnt felt like i was watching a 3D movie

So yeah, I'm opposed to 3D movies....every time I go and see one I am like "That was just a waste of money" Most of the time it isn't even done well....honestly in most cases it is just to make more money.​

O_O I ****ing hate 3D it's horrible and just a way to charge more on admission tickets >_<. Also now they are trying to bring 4D out -_- all it is is a small card that you smell when the move prompts you to (****ing retarded).
