No. Susano'o caused a lot of strain on his body, yes, but it wasn't the ailment that made him become sick in the first place. If that was the case, why didn't anyone else using Susano'o become sick?I only read some of it, but Susanoo was the disease.
AlrightGood thread. I did not read, but still good thread.
Thank youAwesome thread mate!
Thank you for your effort and i will miss your fantastic Itachi threads.
Always great to read and very detailed.
Glad you enjoyed itThis thread has made my life whole again. Thanks you!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!The first word that came to my mind after reading this thread was "Excellent" and reading the later comments made me realize that many our friends have used the same word to describe the thread, this just goes on to show the quality of this thread!
Nice work Magatsu, but it's bit sad that this is your last thread if you are to take an opinion right now majority, including myself, will say that you should make some more![]()
Thank you, I'm glad that approach worked out. This is by far the best explanation of Itachi's sickness. Instead of this whole AIDs repetitiveness I've kept seeing. I also like how you look at other points, evaluate to see if it's possible, and provide proof as to why they are unlikely the reasons.
And #TH forever lives! U_U
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.:'(
Very nice read, thank you for the effort you put into this.
Thank you, I'm glad you agree and that you enjoyed it.I really enjoyed reading this. It seems that you have put a lot of thought into this. Congratulations on that
And I also like how you said that mental health affects physical health because I've learnt psychology and I know that's true.
Great thread bro!![]()
Thank you, but I feel like I've said everything I needed toGreat read once again from you!
Thank you for this amazing thread and hope it will not be your last one.
I'm sorry that is happening to you. I once went through something similar, albeit for a short period of time.If I may add on to the emotional part, which aids the development of sickness; I can attest to that personally, as it happened to me, it's possible. I've been dealing with bodily weakness, chest pain, fevers etc. For the last year or so, and I've been depressed for well over two years, the worst of it coming in bulk during the summer, where I was bed ridden for the majority of it, constantly getting high grade fevers and shivering and going into shock for 45-60 minutes on end without stopping. Mental illnesses like depression severely affect your body. If I'm not mistaken, given that you focus so much on the source of your depression, further intensifying how bad the depression is, it weakens your immune system and makes you more susceptible to current or future developing diseases. That's what happened to me, and given what you outlined about Itachi; that he had to bottle up his emotions over what he had to do, it's entirely plausible that grieving constantly in private during his stay with the Akatsuki took a massive toll on not only his emotional and mental health, but his physical health as a whole.
Indeed. Thank you for readingYea the impact on what he did is most likely choice on how he got sick
Thank youThat was amazing Magatsu! Excellent job! :x3:
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it!Awesome thread mate. I agree with everything.
I will miss your threads.
You're welcomewoah that was an amazing thread and an amazing analysis. Thank you so much for it
I thought a lot about his illness too and I agree that he died because of his heart, his broken heart, his depression, because of guilt and sadness. After all he dies in front of his brother's hate. And, as much as he surely did planned everything, I think that seeing the pain (which was caused by him) in Sasuke's eyes was the final hit for his already broken heart.
A random thought, but yes there is. I'm sure if you did some digging, you'd find a few threads on the subject.I never realized this, but there has been a link between Kimimaro and Kaguya.
OT: Good thread, enjoyed it.
Thanks UCE. Glad you enjoyed it!Good thread, atleast you aren't like the other itachi fans on this site.![]()
Haha, thanks man, glad you liked it!wow just wow...great thread bro......=D
you did a lot of good research....![]()
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!This was a great read, congrats on finishing the series! I agree with pretty much everything here. I used to have the the theory that Black Zetsu poisoned Itachi somehow. Looking back I'm glad Kishimoto didn't go that route though. It would have been an interesting plot twist but I think I would prefer your mental disease theory to have been the case instead. I can just imagine the threads about Black Zetsu after a twist like that. Lol
Everyone always seems to think that Itachi found the weapons and added them to his Susano'o. I think it's just as plausible that Itachi was born with it or awakened his Susano'o with the weapon. After all Orochimaru may have been searching for them, but maybe he couldn't find them because they're tools that are "gifted" to the worthy. Not tools that can simply be hunted down from somewhere. Nothing in the manga to prove that of course, just a theory I prefer.
Thank you, Kaya!Amazing thread, Magatsu! Very well thought out and very thought-provoking also. <3
Very well spoken Magatsu. I understand and even have a bit of experience that forced threads don't have the quality of a thread that came from the heart. I am glad that I could read this thread and it was only human to expect more of such quality workThank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Perhaps it's better to leave when you're missed, then leave when you're not. I've said all I've wanted to about Itachi, and if I were to begin to "force" myself to say more, the quality of my threads would take a huge dip.
But I'm sure others will be able to take my place
As long as their threads are passionate and from the heart, then they will do a fine job!
