The difference between Madara and Hashirama (alive)

So what do you think was the difference between Madara and Hashirama?

Hashirama came became to be known as the God of Shinobi and the most feared man of his time.... while Madara just became a guy who Hashirama defeated, and not really respected...

So here is my analysis of their power:

Hashirama was always superior a level. Ever since they met, Madara was trying to throw a stone across the river, but couldn't.... while Hashirama was already capable of doing it. This basically foreshadows that Hashirama was always a step ahead of Madara.


Later on in their VOTE fight..... Madara believed he was ahead of Hashirama , since he had Kurama under his control .. but then Hashirama does the Buddha technique and fodderizes kurama and PS..... again proving he is 1 step ahead of Madara.



This leads me to believe that there was always 1 or 2 level difference between Madara and Hashirama. So currently people say Edo Madara > Edo Hashirama.... however I disagree..... You can't say one is stronger then the other now.. when Hashirama's powers weren't even completely shown.

Now as far as their presence in Edo tensei goes... Hashirama's presence makes him LOOK stronger... Madara has his Mokuton.... but he doesn't have Hashirama's body. He doesn't have the intelligence, the scroll of seal jutsus and so on.

Hashi is stronger. Madara has those techs, but Hashi created them from scratch. He knows the ins and outs of them. Plus he knows more. Madara can only use the ones Hashi has shown him in their fights. Though that's the case, it would still truly be a fight of gods. Anyone interfering is instantly fodderized. Besides a select few of course.

If they went all out, the Shinobi alliance would just die. Naruto has a slight chance of dying if he doesn't escape in time. Naruto at this point, I'm sad to say, is not on their level yet. Mastering maybe 1 or 2 more jutsu seals his spot in top 3 for sure though. :hooray:

hashirama would be able to defeat edo madara+kyuubi.

madaras full power is still PS and hashiramas full power surpasses PS fused with the kyuubi therefore, madaras new abilities arent a factor in a fight between him and hashirama. only his PS can potentially make a difference and that was inferior to hashirama even when fused with the kyuubi in the manga.

Mokuton will probably be useless for Madara to use, if they do fight. . I'd say the Rinnegan and PS would probably put him to Hashirama's level. A bit below, I still think.

Hashirama was meant to be the strongest character in narutoverse after the sage. And it's true, Even kabuto with his edo's Completely admitted inferiority to him and hyped him up. Hashirama is truly the strongest Shinobi Because of his will of fire, His good heart and his determination.

Same as naruto.

hashirama only had trouble with PS/kyuubi. if edo madara attempts to use mokuton against hashirama when he has shinsuusenju out, he gets oneshotted within seconds.
only PS and that alone will put madara on hashiramas level. his fodder techs(mokuton, rinnegan) wont make a difference.

rinnegan will help him out, but will not win the fight for him. hashirama's techs are large scale and he can also fight mid and close range too.
