Yup. You definitely are our eccentric, incredible Captain Sparrow. If you can do that much while sober, God helps my stomach when you're drunk.

On topic: Why exactly does the kid have to die, though?
Hahaha for your information I never drink. I am an alcohol virgin :D

OT: The kid was unlucky to be found in that place and time. I wasn't. I wouldn't exchange my life for a stranger's. Just being honest here.

What he's trying to say is... I wouldn't save the boy. Right?
Consider the parameters of your scenario: nobody except you wants to save the boy. Nobody wants to put their life on the line. Yet, if you choose to do the same things as everyone else, the entire world magically singles you out and hates you for the rest of your days for doing the same as everyone else.
What?

I don't care how i'll be viewed after death..i'll be dead anyway, I wont know so that is not the reason why i'd save the kid but because, he has a chance of making his life into a much better one than my messed up one.

It was a hypothetical. I could put it differently if you'd like.

How about this. There are no people around, just you, the boy, and security cameras rhat can see your every movement. He is still about to be hit by the train. And you still have the decision to make. Will that quell your problem with my query? If not, then I have nothing left to say to you.

The responses are still highly illogical. I could've murdered the kid in cold blood and been forgotten soon afterwards.
Really; I like the concept of what you're trying to instigate, but you're assuming things that shouldn't be assumed in an ethical dilemma such as this one.

I feel like I would, but to be honest I would probably hate getting hit by a train. If this kid was smarter than me, and had more to contribute to the world than I did, I would probably save him. But if I would save him, I would shout, "Never stand on subway tracks again!" What is the point of saving someone if they will die again the next time a subway comes?

Thats my opinion I guess.

Like L Lawliet said, its more of a matter of indifference rather than cowardice. This kid doesnt affect me in any way, and the thought of giving my life for something other than a close loved one has never made sense to me. When youre dead, youre dead. It doesnt matter how people remember or what cause you died for. Thats how i view it at least. I know it sounds harsh, but im not giving my life for a random kid. Especially a soccer player. Of course its tough to really replicate the fact that this would be a split-second decision in the scenario you described. You wouldnt really have much time to think

I'd probably just stand there. I'd like to save the kid, but in reality, I'm not sure. I don't know him and him being a soccer player was a funny useless fact XD

I'd probably be a coward, but everyone who decided to do knowing hating me is way over the top. They didn't do anything either. However, like you said, if we altered the situation, but still kept the concept, it changes things. It makes my answer become I don't know, but I'll still vote cowardness.
