This move was mediocre at best. I don't know why you guys are overhyping it so darn much.

I just came back from the cinemas. I won't go into depth in to this cause it's 3AM but I will point out a few things.

THE PLOT SUCKED.
It was so obvious that the chick was the person who climbed out of the prison. From the moment I saw the scar after she and Bruce had ***, I knew what was going on. It was also obvious that Bruce would do a 'Sherlock Holmes' and feign his death by moving the bomb out into the ocean. We've seen it time and time again, the same freaking story-line. It wasn't even fleshed out properly, it was more driven to a large-scale catastrophe rather than it being a GOOD STORY

The acting was good, alright but not GREAT NOR OUTSTANDING! all you had for 165 minutes was a moody Christian bale, a moody Bain and shameless sexing-up of Catwoman. There was NO humour in this film. NONE, NOT ONCE DID I GIGGLE OR SMIRK I was just sitting there watching this wannabe-gritty and dark film. There was no blood, no gore and next-to-no atmosphere.
The prison was made out to be this unearthly place where no light was ever shone but when it go to it, there's a freaking hole that illuminates the prison. How is this meant to be atmospheric? It had no redeeming factor and didn't live up to its tale

I could go on but I'm too tired.

@Sasha: Are you referring to the scene in the prison? Right after his vertebra was just clicked in to place? That was so idiotically cut in. It had no fluidity it just appeared out OF NOWHERE. I was sitting there thinking "what the hell? where did this scene come from?" It was so out of place and cliched to hell.

LOK: Epic Storylines? Incredible Plot-twists? Wow... I don't know what film you watched.
Haven't seen the new movie, I was referring to the trilogy as a whole and specifically the second movie.:p

You forgot to mention
Bane's incredibly anti-climactic death...

I agree with this. The Dark Knight was great, but The Dark Knight Rises was a massive let down. Not only did it lack the suspense that The Dark Knight had, but it was painfully long with nothing going on for most of the film.
I know, right? It was so blatantly obvious that Catwoman wouldn't flee from the city but instead save Batman. So when she did come back to one-shot Bain, it wasn't a surprise :/ he got shot once and was never seen again. It was such an underwhelming death for the main antagonist for the film, especially seeing as that he had the upper-hand throughout the film against Batman

LOK: Don't go into this film expecting it to be amazing. You will be left disappointed.

Is it really that good? I thought this movie was going to go down from the dark knight, as seeing the character I thought he was way to plain, and for him to be the main villian I was kind of dissapointed, and did not plan to go see it.( I mean just a big buff guy with a gas mask..)

I get the feeling you're just a movie hater. One of those people who goes to the movies and doesn't want to enjoy it, you just look for any minor problems you can be angry about. I, personally, don't see how you could sit through that movie and not love it.

I though the movie was good, only disappointment was that bale was defeated so easily in the end xD

@Gatsndshanks, I though there was one funny scene
were catwomen disappears and batman said, so this is what it feels like, it made me laugh

Why would I pay for a movie, to go see with my friends and does not want to enjoy it? that makes no logical sense whatsoever. I am saying this from a neutral point of view, I'm not a fan of Batman but I don't dislike it.

What was there to love? they made some stupid cameos with Robin and other things in the last 5 minutes? NO! that does not redeem the negatives of the film. The ending was such a blatant rip-off from the Sherlock Books and his suicide, it left no surprises.

The cinematography was good, the choreography was good. Yes but it doesn't make up for the facts that I mentioned above.

The Dark Knight Rises was an okay film in comparison to other superhero movies, but it didn't meet the bar that The Dark Knight set. Not by a long shot.

It's our opinion if we thought the movie was mediocre (not to say it was terrible, but not fantastic either). Likewise, it's your opinion if you thought it was good. Don't try to diss others because they don't see eye to eye with you.

Can I ask what other superhero movie you really loved?

Thanks for spoiling this for me. Greatly appreciated.

Just saw it today and to be honest, it was a good movie, but wasn't nearly as good as the last one. It was far to drawn out, out of everything the main thing they followed was how smart Baine actually was, what happened when the Bat and Baine first met. Other than that they botched a lot of it :/ Al' Ghul's daughter, she wasn't near hot enough in my opinion

The couldn't even get Robin's fricken name right! I mean seriously Blake Thompson!? It's supposed to be TIM DRAKE only name close enough to Blake Thompson ~_~

To be honest between Spider-Man and Dark Knight Rises........I have to say Spider-Man was the better end movie :/

Also the ending pissed me off like to tomorrow!

better than the avengers? well thats saying something, i wanna watch it now lol
No joke the Avenger's movie was pretty much shit compared to this movie.

I found it laughable how people thought that the new Spiderman movie was going to be able to compete with TDKR.

About the movie though, it was nonstop awesomeness. Each of the characters played their parts wonderfully, and I think that Nolan made a great story. The emotions in that movie were so real, every feeling they were trying to inspire in the audience really came across. I was really sad at one or two parts.

(Obviously he didn't write the comics but I mean changing it from the comic storyline to make it fit the movies.)

The scar on Miranda's back is the same as the League of Shadows sig from Batman Begins.
