I found it laughable how people thought that the new Spiderman movie was going to be able to compete with TDKR.

There are people who thought The Amazing Spider-Man was good enough to be in the same sentence as. The Dark Knight Rises? See, I had to make 2 sentences just to place TASM where it should be. Of the 3 comic-book hero summer movies, TASM was definitely the weakest one. Story was all over the place, I read reviews saying Spidey was funny, only to watch it and only hear him 2-3 jokes in the entire movie. I liked the costume when in motion though, and the stuntman was freaking fantastic! (swinging under the bridge was actually real, and not CGI)

Back on topic: Watched The Dark Knight Rises today, and it was fantastic!
Good points:
•Humor (albeit sparse) were all very funny
•the acting was excellent as always
•Bane sounded a bit sissy like, but the way he destroyed Gotham was very menacing... Also, he actually broke Batman's back! (I thought they wouldn't do that, but they did!)
•The Batpod is still a beauty to look at! Especially when the wheels spins and be able to instantaneously turn to any direction
•Speaking of Batpod and Beauty, Anne Hathaway, ladies and gents! IMO, THE HOTTEST LIVE-ACTION CATWOMAN TO DATE! I thought Batman: Arkham City Catwoman was already hot, but Anne Hathaway comes in, and just makes her appearance on screen always sexy!
•Nice cameo from Liam Neeson, aka Ra's Al Ghul. Killer Croc was also referenced by Blake

Bad:
•Bane sounded sissy, and just like people already spoiled, death scene sucked
•Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow... What happened to you? A main baddie in Batman Begins, and stroked fear in all of Gotham. Regulated to a dealer of sorts in the first few minutes of The Dark Knight, then became one of Joker's fake police henchmen in the middle of the movie. Now, you're working as a "Judge", working for Bane, wearing a destroyed suit... Men up, wear your Scarecrow bag mask again, and strike Gotham once again! Jeez...
•Talia Al Ghul plottwist was predictable and meh for people who read Batman comics. I'm sure a lot of people knew who she was right from the beginning
•So we now have 5 Robins? **** Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, and now "Robin" John Blake? I also knew that he was gonna be announced as "Robin" in the movie. The way he acted seemed like what a Robin thing to do. And "Robin" John Blake? There was no backstory to this. The girl just called him Robin for the sake of calling him Robin, and maybe to piss off Christian Bale (as he said he wouldn't do Batman if Robin was introduced). Also, this Robin is too old now. If there was a spinoff movie, should they just trash Robin and go with the name Nightwing instead?

The bad were all nitpicky, but the movie is still overall very good! I gives it a 5, as it's the only comic book superhero movie trilogy so far that did not tarnish the name of the other two movies, was able to be better than the Avengers IMO, and be the perfect way to end the summer blockbuster movies!
