I became rather curios when i was randomly going through the first Naruto Manga. On the 4th Page i shockingly found this picture that seemed very mysterious and rather foreboding.

It shows Sasuke in an isolated corner riding a hawk as a child! Did'nt he get that summoning only recently?

Moreover Naruto too is present in the center holding the scroll he hangs on his back when he is in sage mode.

There is also a giant frog (which is obvious) though i'm not sure who he is, i'm pretty sure that frogs became the highlight of the show much later.

After carefully staring at it a few questions popped into my mind:

1. Most importantly, all the items drawn in the picture that really aren't supposed to be there (like the scroll, frog, hawk) play a major role later in the story. So what is that thing in Naruto's Mouth and what significance will it have?

2. Did Kishi plan the entire story in the beginning itself and published this picture to give readers a glimpse of the future?

3. Since Kakashi is standing on top of the Giant Frog, was he meant to be the toad sage until Kishi came up with Jiraiya?

4. Was Gamma Bunta initially supposed to look like that?

Looks like it. Some authors already have a glimpse of the whole storyline in mind. Prolly, Kishi made roughdrafts about the future, and such roughdrafts could be his basis as the story progresses.

Most authors do that. Hence, the rough drafts, manuscripts, reviewing of manuscripts (i.e. editing, etc) and finally the finished/published product.

Naruto is also using the Kyuubi's chakra in this picture (at least that's what it looks like to me), another thing he doesn't learn until quite awhile after this.

If it wasn't for all the other things in this image that foreshadow later events, I would have just assumed the big scroll was the one with the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu in it. I'd never really thought of these images as foreshadowing before...I'd always just thought that they were random opening images. Guess not. Yay for proof that Kishimoto dis plan out his manga in advance...there are far too many coincidences for that to not be true.

What are some of the other instances of foreshadowing like this?
