If the show takes off like Breaking Bad that is, what should I expect? Insane tourists who come here and take rocks as mementos? Hopefully they can make a good show based off Battle Creek, this town is pretty crazy, it's called mini Detroit around here, most people are burnouts or gangbangers, everyone drinks and does random drugs and just about everyone has had a gun or knife pulled on them at some point, at least the people I know and I've had both. Just walking down the street at night is dangerous, people get killed just for being a certain skin color or simply for no reason at all, jumped or stabbed it all happens, this town is in the top 10 for most dangerous cities and number 9 in the US for being most dangerous city for women
Then you got Flint Michigan which might as well be a stones throw away which is even worse and has been rated most dangerous city in the US several times
Then there's Delton which is also close is just full of coke dealers and any uppers you can think of, hell everyone from Delton is always jacked up on uppers like Adderall.
Basically shit is crazy around here and you have to watch your back and always carry a knife on you or be friends with the right people. Not sure if the show will take off or flop but they got plenty of realistic things to go off of like they did with Breaking Bad.
