Well, it was nice to have your depiction of the details Kishi left out about Minato’s training/Kushina rescue. I thought you did a great job handling every character's involvement. I liked your attention to details within the writing as well. It will be interesting for what you’ll have planned for the following chapters and I wonder what will happen to Masato/Kazumi’s characters. All in all it was a great chap! good job and keep it up

I like the idea but you should give some more credit to Minato, there is no way he was a genin at 14. Or even 11, I mean come on Shikamaru became a chuunin at 12. But still props to you for writing the story, all around it was pretty good.
What you say is very true. I was going to do it earlier, but I found the kidnap + chuunin exam a good combination of two storylines, and Minato didn't look much older. Don't forget, he was only a jounin to Kakashi, Obito and Rin, and he didn't look much older when he saved Kushina, henceforth the rediculous age on which he turns Chuunin.

No problem, I didn't mean to sound critical I liked the story I just felt he should be younger. And to respond to the bolded part, there is no higher rank than jounin in the manga other than kage. They don't have the weird Narutobase system where people randomly turn into a jinchurikki, and those aren't official rankings anyway.
Yes, I should have formulated it differently. The only was a bit misplaced, though I still found him young to be Jounin. xd. He wasn't like Kakashi who was also a prodigy, yet Kakashi was a Jounin before him.
