“Team Jiraiya set out! The first big mission!”
As all of my previous posts state, I advise you to read the first 3 chapters of the storyline, to get a good idea of what the story is about.
Jiraiya was waiting in the for his team to bring back their 4th cat that had run away this week. He was relieved when they came in with the cat, And hoped that they would finally get some harder missions.
Minato: Here's the stupid cat, can we get some harder missions for once, please?!
Kazumi: Yea, it's really annoying me to be playing "a babysitter that lost his child" all week.
Masato: I'm hungry...
As the three of them complained, a member from the ANBU force suddenly appeared before the Hokage. He whispered something in his ear. Hiruzen's face had a serious look on it.
Sarutobi: So you three want a more dangerous mission? Something that you think will actually matter to Konoha? Very well...
Jiraiya: You three go and pack your stuff for the next mission, i'll contact you when to assemble at the Main Gate.
The three youngsters obeyed their order and went home, while Jiraiya anxiously looked at his former master.
Jiraiya: What is it Sarutobi-sensei?
Sarutobi: It appears that their are some troubles that must be dealt with, but I have no other team to sent out. I guess it will be you and the younglings, Jiraiya. Rest assured, if you manage to bring them back alive, they'll pass the Chuunin exams without any trouble.
Jiraiya: This doesn't sound good, what's going on?!
Sarutobi: A group of missing-nin have been round up by the infamous Yuji...
Jiraiya: You mean, Yuji of th-
Sarutobi: Ofcourse you idiot, what other Yuji would I be talking about?!
Jiraiya: Sensei, you can't send these kids out on a mission like this! Even with me going along there's only a remote chance that we will completely defeating them. Atleast if that's what you want us to do?
Sarutobi: Yes it is, and you have no other choice Jiraiya-chan, your team is the only team we have for the moment. But don't fear, the kids are on a whole other level than anyone suspects. You out of all people should atleast be able to confirm this.
Jiraiya shrugged and agreed with Sarutobi. With nothing to protest against, he listened to the details of the mission and went on to inform his team. After informing them, he told them to be at the Main Gate in 2 hours.
Two hours later Minato, Masato and Kazumi arrived. Several minutes later Jiraiya joined the threesome.
Jiraiya: Right, let's walk and i'll explain the mission on the way...
Minato (to himself): Jiraiya-sensei looks worried... I haven't seen him like this before...
They started heading North, taking the road to Takigakure (The hidden Waterfall Village). Jiraiya started to explain why this was a serious mission.
Jiraiya: Guys, there's something you need to know while we're going on this mission.
Kazumi: What is it sensei?
Jiraiya: Eventhough you're all very skilled Genins, you need to know that we aren't just hunting anyone. We're hunting the infamous Yuji.
Masato: Ermmm... Jiraiya-sensei?
Jiraiya: Yes, Masato?
Masato: Who is Yuji?
Jiraiya sighed again. Obviously these children were too young to take on a mission like this. They didn't even know who the man they were hunting was.
Jiraiya: Yuji, is a Missing-nin from Konoha, and the last user of the Kekkei Genkai: Sonic Release.
Minato: Sonic release? Wait a second, my dad told me about that. Isn't that the rare element of the Hamada Clan?
Jiraiya: Yes, and Yuji is the last person alive to posses it. His clan was one of the strongest during the Second Great Ninja War, but nonetheless the were all defeated in the end. Yuji was the only one to survive, as he was one of the only children left who knew the secrets of the technique that his clan once held.
Masato: So what does this Sonic thing do?
Jiraiya: It's able to do a whole range of attack. He can blast you, blow up objects, he can make a screeching sound that makes you go insane, cast a genjutsu on you, he can als-
Kazumi: OK SO HE'S STRONG, WE GET THE POINT!
Jiraiya: Ermm right, no need to get scared though. We can handle him.
Kazumi: So we'd better come up with a tactic before assaulting him once we know about his where-abouts.
Jiraiya: We'll talk about that later. Frankly, i'm not sure what his abilities really are either.
Masato sighed when he heard this. They all seemed to be rather passive after hearing this information. After walking all day, they decided to put up their tents and take a good nights rest.The next day they made good progress and entered the land in which the Hidden Waterfall Village was located.
Jiraiya:: Right, let's try and get some information on Yuji's whereabouts at that little town over there.
As they entered the town, everything seemed quiet at first. They walked through the streets, looking around for someone who seemed to have some information.Just When they were about to stop, they saw 2 men threatening an old woman. The threesome ran over to help her before Jiraiya noticed.
Minato: Leave her alone, right now!
???1: Or what, punk?!
Masato: Or we'll kick your ass, idiot!
???2: Did you hear that Taka?
Taka: I know, what will they do to us, right Toshiro? Hahaha!
Toshiro: Hahaha!
Minato was enraged by their attitude. These were your typical cocky scumbags, who thought that they could get away with what they wanted, whenever they wanted.
Minato: Alright, that's enough!
Minato charged in towards Taka, and with amazing speed, he thrusted his knee into Taka's stomach. Blood spilled out of the enemy's mouth as he flew backward. Hard.
Toshiro: You little idiot!
Toshiro sprinted at Minato, but before he could hit him, Masato's expanded arm crushed Toshiro into the ground, leaving him beneath the dust in a desastrous state.
Jiraiya: Well well, that will teach them to mess with a defenseless elder. Madam, are you alright?
The elder woman didn't seem much relieved to see her saviours.
Elder woman:: I don't know if that was such a good thing to do. Those thugs are Yuji's minions and they'll be sure to come back once you leave... Nonetheless, I guess a thank you is not out of place. Please, follow me inside.
Minato: Shouldn't we take care of these villains, Jiraiya-sama?
Elder woman: Jiraiya-sama... You mean, you are Jiraiya, The Great Sannin?
Jiraiya blushed as the woman mentioned his title.
Jiraiya: Ermm. Hehe, yes. Anyways, leave them outside, they won't come back for a while. Let's go inside you three.
The foursome followed the elder woman inside. Jiraiya had a strange feeling that this might be the lead they needed to get a hold of Yuji. They took place in a cozy livingroom, where the hostess poured them some tea in a cup.
Elder woman: You have my thanks for what you did, Jiraiya-san. I'm just afraid that they'll come back once you leave.
Jiraiya: Don't worry, we're looking for Yuji ourselves and take him into custody for his crimes against Konoha.
Elder woman: But that's suicide! You can't expect to win a battle against him, which will surely happen!
Jiraiya: We must and we can! Despite the odds, these three are a gifted bunch and i'm not too shabby myself. If you want to help us, you could do so by giving us information that you know about Yuji and his whereabouts?
Elder woman: I suppose I can if you really insist...
The elder woman started giving them information. To Jiraiya's astonishment, Yuji surrounded him only with a few accomplances, the duo they just defeated being two of them. After finishing their tea, they went outside and promised the old lady they'd be back with information if they defeated Yuji.
Jiraiya: Right team, let's go to where Yuji was last seen, maybe we can find some leads on him!
They dashed out of the town, heading east to a small mountainpath where a skull was hanging around a "no-trespassing" sign as if it were the most normaly thing in the world.
Minato: Sensei, isn't this the path that we were told to follow to reach Yuji's hideout?
Jiraiya: Yes Minato, if we go up this path we should go around the cliff edges up there, Yuji's hideout should become visible to us.
Kazumi: Right, let's head up then, I'll sense if someone is close to us!
And so the foursome went into the mountainpath, not knowing what dangerous perils lie ahead. Shall they meet The infamous Yuji, or will it be a dead-end track?
I know this wasn't really what anyone expected, but this is only the first part of the mission. I split it up because I thought it would become too long if I put the fighting scene in aswel.
