Ariel wakes up, looks outside the window she sees leaves falling from the tree. It’s FALL! She thinks to herself. She gets out of her bed, tossing her fluffy pink blanket away. Ariel dresses up quickly for school and smirks in the mirror. A hand appears on her shoulder.
??? : Ready for the freshman year??
Ariel: Nellly! Ofcourse…
Nelly is Ariel’s aunt she takes cares of her from last 7 years after her mom and dad died in the burning of her home.
Nelly and Ariel come downstairs and nelly quickly grabs the car keys and in a flash both of them are in the car. Nelly starts the engine and after few minutes they are at Fairfield high. Ariel gets out of the car and says goodbye to Nelly.
Looks straight up… Freshman year huh? She thinks to herself…She starts walking towards the stairs and as she is going to open the door to the hallway…she hears a voice calling her name, she turns around to see who is calling and sees Henry. He is Ariel’s drudge.
Henry: Arieelll!
Ariel: Hey, Henry how’s your summer been?
Good, Henry gives a smirked look to Ariel.
Ariel: Ahan, so how many girls have you date till yet? She gives him a questioning; and opens the door to hallway.
Henry: Not many, maybe just 6, he thinks to himself for a moment, and says maybe 7 no 8.
Ariel laughs as they both walk to their class. A mysterious man walks by them, and gives Ariel an irritating look and covers his mouth while walking faster than before. When Ariel looks back to see what was with him, that man is suddenly disappeared.
Ariel: Who was that man? She asks Henry as she is worried about something.
Henry: Oh, he is the new Biology Teacher. I wonder why he acted like this when he was walking by us.
Ariel thinks for a moment his speed was like a vampire no human can be so fast. She keeps wondering about it for a while and didn’t notice where she is walking. She gets bumped in a locker and falls to the ground.
Ariel: Ouchy! Where am I walking? She asks herself
Ariel notices Henry is gone and thinks where he might be, but Henry had already told her that he was going in his class as she was in a deep thought she didn’t notice what was happening around her. As she gets up she sees Tom and Tim. Tom and Tim have been bullying her from her middle school years.
Tom: Look Tim who’s this little kid, as always falling on the ground.
Tim laughs and they both surround Ariel and try to touch her, Ariel pushes both of them with her vampiric strength and bolts to her class.
At lunch time Ariel and her friends go to cafeteria, where they find Meredith and Adrian kissing. She feels resented, she almost pushes Meredith away from Adrian when Andy grabs her hand and pulls her in his arms. Andy has been Ariel’s best friend from kindergarten and now he has become her first lover.
Andy: What’s wrong with you? He gives her a frustrated look
Ariel: uh...I...I. I am sorry. Ariel blushes and gets out of his arms.
Andy: What the hell… I know you are jealous from Meredith because Adrian’s been your love from… He pauses and then says never mind.
Ariel: Andyy It’s not like that... She feels embarrassed.
Andy has had a secret crush on Ariel from 6th grade and now he can’t hide his true feelings from her. Deep inside he is jealous from Adrian as he knows Ariel is in love with him.
Andy sighs and goes to his table, picks his food up and throws in the garbage can. Andy looks at Ariel for a second and then takes a deep breath and goes outside where he won’t be able to see her.
Ariel finishes her lunch and goes to her class, At last it’s time for the last class she thinks to herself; As she is walking to her class she sees Andy, he is in this class to...She looks a little worried because she has a thirst for his blood.. And if they both stay together for long who knows Ariel’s demon will suck her best friend’s blood.
Ariel: Hi.ii Andy.
Andy: Hi! He almost says like he didn’t even hear her and goes in the class where he finds his seat against a wall.
Ariel is embarrassed and she goes in the class to and sees the teacher.. She thinks to herself he is the man that was acting weird in the morning when he saw her. Ariel makes her way from some kids and she sits right behind Andy.
Andy: Oh Shit! He looks behind in angriness
Ariel: Wha...t Happened?
Andy: In a room with 25 chairs you just found the seat right behind me.
Ariel: Yeaaah! She passes him a smile.
Andy: whatever! He smiles and looks back on his books.
Deep inside Andy is happy. He thinks maybe just maybe I have a chance with her.
???: ah hum. Alright I will start with my introduction. My name is Adalson Bathory as he says that he looks at Ariel.
Ariel: Bathoryy.. But this is the only name vampires can have how he can have that no way! She looks down at her book and breaks the pencil lid. Her color turns to pale.
Andy: Aree you alright?
Ariel: Ya I am fin..e. She is thirsty for blood.
Adalson: Alright let’s start with today’s lesson page 3 he calls out loud.
After 25 mins of class Ariel gets really sick of blood and in front she sees Andy’s neck his blue veins sprout like they are calling her to taste them. Ariel’s fangs start to come out of her gums.Nooo…Not now please don’t please don’t come out right now She hurries and gets out of the class and ignores Andy, Adalson and even Adrian.
Ariel bolts her way out of the school to the woods where she will find her prey. She is at her limits, and finally she sees a man walking lonely, she quickly knocks him at the ground and drinks his blood. She quickly gets up and clears her shirt from blood.
Andy: Ari..ee
Ariel looks back and is surprised to see Andy.. Andy whe..n did you came here?
Andy walks towards her.. She puts her head in her hands.. Oh no not him I..what should I do..She thinks to herself.
Andy approaches near her, puts his hand on her waist and pulls her. He whispers in her ear… I knew something was wrong. You… He pauses you are a vampire aren’t you?
Ariel cries, and pushes him away Just Stay Away from me..! We are no more friends…She ran away from him no sign where she is going, Andy tries to catch up with her but can’t after all she is a vampire. Ariel makes her through the wood to the bright city. She then climbs up a tree, and spent a lot of time there thinking.
At home, Nelly is worried and calls her much time but every time she calls there is no answer.
???: I am home!
Nelly: Adal, did you saw Ariel anywhere? She is worried about her
Adal: No she just ran from the class even before it was over. Didn’t she come home?
Nelly: No I am really worried about her, she isn’t picking up her phone either can you go out and find her.
Adal looks worried a bit but hides his worries as he knows Ariel can be in danger if she stays out for long. Adal hurries out in his vampiric speed and looks for her but there is no sense for her.. for long. Adal hurries out in his vampiric speed and looks for her but there is no sense for her..
Adal: Where she might be? He keeps finding for her.
Ariel jumps down the tree. And a voice calls her name: Arielll so you are here huh?
Ariel looks back and found a big human being. What do you want with me? She says in a loud voice.
???: Nothing much just your blood. He smiles
Ariel: Are you a vampire?
???: You got it right I am Dablo from the vampire council.
Ariel: Dablo I never heard of you…And vampire council…What is it?
Dablo: Well as you’re a bit young for this kind of stuff I should not put you in so much trouble. I am here for your blood and I will get it.
Ariel: It’s not so easy to get my blood.
Dablo: We will see it… His fangs appear from his gums.
Ariel: Woah! His fangs are huge then a normal vampire.
Dablo bolts towards Ariel... He almost sucks her blood but Adal suddenly appears and pushes him away from her. Ariel’s skin turns pale as she is scared.
Dablo: Addalll! Youu.. Ariel This time Adal saved you but next time no one will save you.
Adal growls at Dablo and then he is disappeared in the shadows.
Adal: Ariel are you ok?
Ariel: Yes, Thank you but what are you doing here and how did you found about me?
Adal smile... I will tell you everything but let’s go home first.
Ariel: I don’t want to go home.
Adal: Ariel Nelly is worried about you.. You need to go back.
Ariel: How do you know Nelly? How do you know so much about me.. Ariel sounds angry
Adal picks her up and bolt to home. And in some minutes they both are home. Nelly opens the door and they both go inside.
Nelly: Where were you? Do you know how much I have been worried about you?
Ariel: I am sorry…I will not do it again. And Adal how do you about me?
Adal: Because I am your Uncle.
Ariel: Unclee….How is this possible my dad never talked about you!!
Adal: I know but it’s true I am your dad’s brother…
Ariel grins.
Adal: Your blood is unique because you’re a half vampire.
Ariel sighs.
Adal continues many vampires would want your blood, Dablo is not the only one so for that you will have to be strong and I am gonna teach you Ariel be ready for your training. We will start of your training in summer vacations.
Ariel smiles and nods.
Few months pass, Andy and Ariel are no more friends and he knows the secret about her but he never talked about it to anyone. Andy’s feeling are getting much stronger and he can’t stop caring about her. Adrian and Meredith are getting along. Henry keeps dating more girls. And there is one more problem a Slayer from Slayer Society is coming back to town.
