Um, only sharingan users and hashirama can control the bijuus easily.(not jinchuriki) Without those abilities, you need to be unbelievably strong to beat a bijuu in 1 on 1 combat.

i agree and disagree. here's the thing, in the beginning they were portrayed as mindless beast. later we see that is wrong when kurama is barking out orders and kakashi says he sounds like a captain. when kurama was fighting konoha you have to remember he was being controlled by obito, so we don't know how much control he had over kurama and if it effected his fighting. technically the village should have been hit with a few bijuu dama but somehow that was avoided as we only seen it ry it like 2 and it was stopped by minato. as for the othe bijuu, i don't really know what to say about them as they where all in jin and the only time we saw them fought was against madara and he had the rennigan and mokuton if he wanted to use that.
