The bijuu were always over-rated

In my opinion the hype surrounding the bijuu is undeserved don't get me wrong i agree that they're powerful but so far all they've done is kill fodder-nin in flashbacks the one tail was beaten by a genin that barely made it out of the ninja academy(let's forget he's the hero for a while),the rest of them got their asses handed to them + jinchuuriki by the akatsuki,madara used to use the kyuubi as just another ninja tool but i think the point where i discovered how truly over hyped they were was when the third hokage pushed the kyuubi out of konoha with enma and then there's the juubi and we all know how that turned out.....

I agree. When the Bijuu can get their asses handed to them by a shinobi that doesn't even have a KKG, they don't deserve the fear they garnered in part 1.

Hell, Madara alone seems to be a bigger threat than the Juubi, and he's just a human...

but the manga later revealed that the bijuu are intelligent at least intelligent enough to remember their own names

That's why I said basically, they do have some form of intelligence but they aren't tacticians. Lol

I think each bijuu gains proportional power up with every tail added.

For example,

Nibi = Ichibi x2

Kurma = Ichibi x9

It explains why Naruto and Kurama were able to counter 6 bijuu at once. And it also explains how Naruto solo'd Ichibi at the age of 12. Although they are indeed not too powerful with current power scaling.

At the same time though, a Bijuu's power is said to be more focused after being sealed into a Jinchuuriki. However, you'd think that a mindless beast that powerful would be able to stomp more ass ALONE.

Naruto beat a nerfed 1 Tails, had he continued to fight and not wake gaara up, he'd be dealing with a fully released Shukaku.

None of those Jinchuriki's the akatsuki fought were perfect, I believe. So their full potential wasn't there.

Kurama is different from all the other tailed beast, he is potentially weak to unique sharingan users. Obito, Madara.

You act as if pushing Kurama was actually going to stop him.

The tailed beast aren't overrated, it's just that without plot and special sealing techniques, justu, the nine of them can steamroll everyone in the NV, and if they can't they just respawn and repeat.

They're immortal beings with near, infinite chakra and can casually bust mountains.

They're always restricted being sealed inside someone.

Also, if the Juubi wasn't being control and was at 100%, it'd be spamming giant TBBs. It took FTG and immortal beings just to rear it.

Once again, they nerfed it by sealing it inside a person.

Naruto didn't beat Shukaku since Shukaku himself admitted that Gaaara hadn't been sleeping long enough for his full power to be unleashed.
