if anyone is being ignorant it would be you right?

sins he is willing to look at other sources other than just his holy book, where you are not?
First of all I am not being ignorant. I am looking at other sources as well. Many things in the holy book explain a lot about earth. There are things that scientist discovered today written in the holy book several thousand years ago. Which make me believe in God even more.

No, that is not correct, it's the other way around.

you claimed he have a belief where he does not belief in the existence of a deity.

which is not the case.

he is saying atheist lack a belief in a deity (that is what makes one a atheist, if you don't have a belief in a deity, you lack it, if you don't believe you are a none-believer, as in a atheist)

there is nothing more to it.
And I'm asking for why he believes that.

And I'm asking for why he believes that.
but he does not "believe" as you put it (not sure why you have such a hard time understanding this)

You do, as a theist, you believe in God, he does not, he does not have a belief in God.

You either believe or you don't, you do, he doesn't.

The answer is we have two sources of information: Religion and science - science which hypothesises that the universe is expanding as a result of an explosion, and religion, the Quran giving a statement 1,400 years ago about the Big Bang, while simultaneously stating that it is a word of God, so I'm going to believe two legitimate sources of information.

The last time I checked, the Earth was a part OF the universe, not APART from it.
The verse itself becomes confusing by the Muslims argument , but becomes entirely clear when we read the verse in the authentic context..

The Quran simply parrots common beliefs of the time period and nothing more.
The Qurans statement of separating the Earth from the Heavens is nothing new, the concept is found in all surrounding and Earlier religions/Cultures of the region.

Christianity, Judaism, Sumerian Mythology for example, all talk about a separation between the Heavens and he Earth, do they describe the Big Bang? Of course not and no one assumed this to be the case.
The reality of the situation is that the claim creates a belief that the Heavens (now known as the upper sky) and the Earth were separated (as with a brick lifted off the top of another Brick) to simply create a space between them.
All the Quran is doing (a consistent find in the Quran) is giving a vague synopsis of local beliefs which have been incorporated to give the Quran a sense of credibility and nothing more, especially not what some muslims would have you believe.

In conclusion, the Quran does not demonstrate the Big Bang theory and only appeals to archaic beliefs of creation, disproving its 'divinity' .

Basically, you have a belief and you can't prove it? Wow...

That's literally what atheism is not. Atheism is the lack of belief in a deity.

Again, I'm asking you: Do you have a reason for that lack of belief or just no reason? It's really that simple.

led me answer you're question with a few other questions, you answer might very well be the same answer we would give for the god you believe in.

do you believe in Odin?
do you believe in Zeus?
do you believe in Shiva?
do you believe in Zeth?
do you believe in Baal?

do you believe in them? or do you not? what is you reason for that belief/lack of belief?

The reason I personally don't believe in 'God' or any other deity as there isn't enough supporting evidence. I'm not going to believe some shit just because of the word of man. A deity needs to make itself apparent to me for me to believe in it.
