Wow, Oro actually winning by more than half. I expected people to like Obito more than Madara.

^ I prefer Obito, he's definitely one badass character and his tactics and intelligent approach make him and his battles interesting to watch, however... Orochimaru is 1. The first villain 2. Evil without a question 3. closest thing to immortality, that guy just don't know how to die.

And I also think Obito scared some people away with his confession about Rin.

Pain. Oro is surely bad, but he didn't even have an epic fight. Madara is OP but he lacks depth. Obito got owned in every fights he's in xD

I'll go with orochimaru because his description correspond to the perfect villain material

He's creepy, doesn't care for anyone(well maybe?), powerfull(for god sakes, that guy got killed, sealed by itachi into a genjutsu that your are not supposed to come back and yet he still got revived).

If I would choose a second one, probably pein(although he is not evil anymore), I always love that character because he actually managed to destroy konoha in like a few seconds. Also for his personnality, his cold blood.

Madara is cool and badass but WAY to overpowered IMO.

I would say Obito number 3 but I honestly don't like him that much as a villain as of now. Maybe once we get some actual background besides Kakashi gaiden and pictures with no dialogue about how he had a crush on some girl when he was like 14 then maybe he will be more interesting.

I like Obito better because he was more of a secret villian, cause Pain out on the center stage but Obito was pulling the strings the whole time.

I would have to say that orochimaru was way more intimidating and scary becase if it werent for the akatsuki robe no one would have been scared of Tobi's goofy ass xd

Pain. i sincerely dislike the edo trolling he got... plus i actually found his plan good and the reason so many opposed it was because they did not want the balance of power changed, therefore the big villages losing their status, and not because what he was saying was actually so evil. Pain, imho, said some truths.
