Man if that fight happened, it would just be too epic.

2 Carefree captains going at it, followed up by 2 instinct born killer vice-captains going at it (Yes Zoro is the Vice-Captain/First Mate/ Second-in-Command of the Strawhats). On top of that all four of them are supernovas. TOOOO FREAKING RAW!!!!

Screw Drake/Law/etc its all about KIDD!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha. Kidd is no where near carefree, but yeah. I'd love to see this fight too. I think that Luffy and Zoro take it though, even though I feel Kidd is a little stronger than Luffy. Zoro being definitively stronger than Killer kinda evens it out IMO.

Lol. Isn't Kidd the one that instigated the fight between him and Apoo because the latter looked at him? He's also admitted to killing anyone that laughed at his dream as well as being known for slaughtering and endangering common folk hence his bounty... If you meant he's care-free as in he doesn't give a phuck, then you're right, but that the only thing that he and Luffy have in common.

Zoro's a MC. He wouldn't lose to Killer. Killer doesn't have much hype and portrayal either.

Kidd's attitude is too similar to Luffy, I doubt Kidd is or any of the Supernova are as strong as Luffy except X Drake. Dude looks like a yonkou Commander and he seems beastly. Anyway, with Luffy's moveset if you are at similar power level, but aren't smart with it. All my bets go on Luffy.

Sanji is my favourite Straw Hat, but Zoro obviously is stronger than him.
It's only logical for the strongest, and the firseber to be second in command.

Rayleigh was the vice-captain/First mate

Luffy and Zoro are portrayed after Rayleigh and Roger. It is only logical that Zoro is the vice-captain. =].

It'd be a wicked fight, though as most people I do say that the Stawhats would take it, but it'd be an intense fight

Kidd is a ruthless, cold-blooded killer. Luffy doesn't have this type of personality as a whole, but they both don't give a phuck.

SNs like Kidd and Law have the hype and portrayal that puts them on Luffy's level or above. Drake lacks both. The only thing that he seems to have is a fan base.

Ex. Pre-ts Law was the strongest SN without a doubt just because of his Hax.

I must disagree sir. Its been hinted many times that luffy>=zoro>sanji. Sanji has not shown anything that spectacular and powerful enough to be exactly as strong as zoro.

The gap between luffy zoro and sanji though is very small though.

So.

1. Zoro was the first to join luffy.
2. Zoro is hinted to be the strongest of the crew besides luffy.
3. Zoro goes out of his way more than the rest of the crew for luffy(ex thriller bark absorbing all luffys pain)
4. When luffy wants something done, he usually relies upon zoro.

Zoro is most likely the unofficial first mate. Zoro is the one who luffy relies upon.

I really have no preference over sanji or zoro(as to who i like more). But its quite plain to see, that zoro is most likely luffys first mate. Not sanji.

It's pretty much confirmed by Oda. I'll never get why people choose to compare Zoro and Sanji in everything. Zoro is Luffy's ideal first-mate. No one else in the crew could replace him.
