He can cast his genjutsu with a finger instead of his eye, his crows can use genjutsu (e.g. Kotoamatsukami), he knows and can utilize Izanagi and Izanami. He has Tsukuyomi -- a genjutsu Madara/Obito are desperately hoping to cast. He can control multiple people with genjutsu outside the range of sensors and defeat Kurenai and Orochimaru (both are good at genjutsu).

Hashirama inherited great life force and stamina, so much so that he was able to fight Madara for 24 hours non-stop and still have enough energy to deliver a final blow. After seeing Naruto and the Kyuubi's chakra, Hashirama's clone noted that they had almost as much chakra as them.

Kakashi's sharingan couldn't keep up with Itachi's handseals. Sasuke was shocked when Itachi was able to form seals during their shuriken-shootout. EMS Sasuke and DSM Kabuto didn't immediately notice when Itachi swapped himself with a crow clone.
