No. It isn't that. Being open about your emotions isn't weak. And suppressing them isn't strong. By being open, I put myself at your mercy, and I trust that you won't hurt me for it. And even if you do try to hurt me, I won't be any less open. In fact, I will become more resilient. Those who conceal their emotions are afraid of being hurt. I don't want you to make my mistake.
