I believe that's why in the Anime, most jutsu are shown in fights that you would never see in the Manga because it takes up too much page space, why use your tine to do that instead of carrying on with plot? Kishi has a schedule he needs to keep up with so there's no time to show off techniques. Thats why animes there to show us things Kishi had in mind but never had the time to do so

Also, this is where ass-pulls come in. Itachi, Kakashi and Madara, pretty much anyone who has been said to not show their full power can easily pull out techniques suited for any situation.

That's honestly my biggest complaint of the manga.

Every chapter I'm eagerly awaiting to see some ultimate badass jutsu, but we then just get the same rehashed set of moves each time.

Tobirama didn't have any unique water jutsu

Madara hasn't used any new sharingan technique

Minato is like naruto.....rasengan spam

Orchimarau is starting to depress me from lack of jutsu since people hype him to be godly

Obito was supposed to be Madara's pupil.....where the hell were all the cool mokuton/katon jutsu?


Hopefully once Guy uses the eighth gate we might see something new.

Truth is you can't show all of a shinobi arsenal or jutsu in the manga while trying to explain background of characthers its just to much , you have comedy ,sadness, joy etc emotion that also needs to be put in not enough room anime should be actually do that they have much more room time & space for all that.
