Yeah but atleast there sticking closer to the comics than the other series was. At least now hes back in highschool like he was supposed to be and not some 25 year old spiderman xd

Well, this was one of the 2012 movies that I was in doubt. I wanted to see the trailer because it's a new cast and the way they'll present the story.
The last ones graphics were better (though it's only a trailer) but this one seems more focused on tragedy life and past of Peter Parker rather than full-on cool stunts and action.

For now, it didn't really excited me more but I could look for it definitely. The Avengers sound more promising.

Did you see the teaser trailer for Avengers? I saw it and it looks awesome, but I won't post it until I find a HD version. The one I saw was poor quality.

This shouldn't even be happening. The other series was and will be the Spiderman cast for me. I don't like the "feel" of this movie. Doesn't fill like Spiderman. I hated when I first heard about a reboot, but now, it just looks bad to me.

From what i read the script is based on the "Ultimate" franchise by Brian Michael Bendis.
Not in the original material but based on "Ultimate Spider-Man".

But Tthey should've made a 4th movie and just had VENOM since the first movie so we could have Carnage now.

The first 2 movies were not that far off from the comics. The third is in a way but Venom's origin is about the same.
Wanna see something completely far off from the comics?? Try any X-Men movie.

Could never be carnage on the first movie. Carnage doesn't appear until much later on.
If they go by the comics, it won't be Lizard either. Most likely it will be Green Goblin again, it shouldn't be Green Goblin either in the first movie but whatever...

Edit: Actually it will be the Lizard with Proto-Goblin in the mix...

The other series got a bit......dunno how to put it but after screwing up Venom and such, I guess a remake would be a good choice since this will stick closer to the comics. Tobey Maguire was a boring spiderman anyways xd

It's not a remake, it's a re-boot. It's alot different.
