Who cares whether he's black or white. When you think about it these being written in the 70's played a huge part in a lack of ethnical diversity among characters.

For those following this closely, Gwen will die. Aside from all the already strong evidence, here at 3:06:
Not only as already shown Peter is crying, it's in the Gear place where Peter and Gwen were, she's wearing the outfit she was when she died, and so much more evidence, but if you look closely, in front of his right arm is a small part of a jacket- the same one that Gwen/Emma is wearing in the scene. Without it it was strongly suggested, now it's proven. She dies, I guess that means MJ in the rest of the films.
