Note: The following chapter is the finale and I wanted to inform my readers know therefore I am not targeted for an ambush due to releasing it without notice xd
Ao: We’re the squad sent by Mizukage-sama and you’re the ones who encountered Houzuki Ame?-
Izumo: (In thought) So that's her name-
Izumo: Yes
Kotetsu: (In thought) Wow-my love really set up well with this squadron-they look like savages..
Ao: There is no time!-Did you have any more leads as to-
Choujuurou: (In thought) Now of all times?!-
Choujuurou: Watch out!
Narrator: The introverted young male racks up enough courage and abruptly responds with an attack using his Hiramekarei as its bandages quickly begin to unwrap.
[Weapon Insight]
[Jutsu Insight]
Narrator: Suddenly, a rapid fire of bullet-like objects proceed in the two parties direction. A large amount of chakra is then released from the holes near the tip of the blade and shapes into the form of a shield as Choujuurou attempts to safeguard his group.
Ao: (In thought) That’s odd-Choujuurou took charge..
Narrator: Each bullet splatted from the impact which then began to burn through his chakra shield as extensive steam exhaled from the shield-like form.
Choujuurou: (In thought) This jutsu seems like-
Ao: Good job Choujuurou-I’ll take it from here!-Byakugan!
Narrator: Two fingers are held up close to his face as he activates Byakugan. Veins begin protruding around his eye patch and he quickly and accurately locates the foe who was hidden behind a building about less than half a mile away.
Ao: (In thought) So you were this close all along!-
Ao: (Shouting) Oniitomakiei no Sakebi!
[Jutsu Insight]
Narrator: Ao then raises his arm mid way as he releases chakra through the fingertips and an enormous manta ray is quickly formed. It begins to flap its wings and swiftly takes flight towards the figure’s direction with an accelerated rate.
Izumo: (In thought) This looks like-
Figure: (In thought) No time-I’ll have to go defensive..
Izumo: (Shouting) Stop attacking!
Ao: Why!
Izumo: Because its someone we know!
Narrator: Ao then quickly commands the ray to cease in its course through his will.
Ao: Why would an acquaintance be attacking?
Izumo: I’m not sure but I want to find out before something irreversible occurs-
Izumo: (Shouting) Kurotsuchi!!!
Kurotsuchi: (In thought) Shit..
Narrator: The boisterous kunoichi previously attacked the group with Youton: Maguma Kikanjuu and had no choice but to defend herself with Tsuchi Maruyane.

Narrator: At her will, the Earth barricade began to retract revealing an opening. She then quickly leaped onto the building aside her and made her way towards the parties.
Izumo: Why would you attack us?!
Kurotsuchi: ..I thought they were attacking you!
Kotetsu: (In thought) What got into her..
Izumo: They were only questioning us..
Narrator: She then crossed her arms sharply turned her head with an inflated cheek. Ao clutched his fist as the ray then began to quickly dissipate.
Ao: Your interruption could cost us Tsuchi woman!-I’ll ask again-did you have any more leads as to-
Kurotsuchi: Hmm...
Izumo: No!
Kotetsu: (In thought) Izumo...
Ao: If anything occurs to you-
Izumo: I understand!
Choujuurou: (In thought) He seems devastated-huh...like I’ve felt from time to time
Kurotsuchi: (In thought) Izumo’s persona seems to have changed dramatically..
Ao: Choujuurou-squad lets-
Izumo: We may have injured her!
Ao: I see-lets move out!
Narrator: As they went their separate ways; Izumo remained silent with a stern expression.
Kurostuchi: Hmm...oto-sama is angered and I was bored so I decided to follow you guys...I suppose I apologize for interfering with their investigation-I thought you two were being attacked..and...I enjoy fighting so I-
Izumo: Understood..
Kurotsuchi: (In thought) Under these circumstances I am unable to fulfill my purpose..not yet-
Kurotsuchi: I’ve caused enough trouble so we’ll part ways here-continue up this path north and you should eventually reach the border..

Kurotsuchi: (In thought) Even though he’s acting with courtesy-I can tell its a facade and that it has do with that case for some reason..
Narrator: Her rosy cheeks inflated as she sharply turned around facing the direction that led to her land and began to pace through the streets with a sorrowed expression mainly due to suppressing what she intended to confess to Izumo.
Kotetsu: That had to be the oddest occurrence ever..
Narrator: He then glanced over at his partner’s visage and murmured a few words.
Kotetsu: Are you okay?-
Izumo: I don’t want to talk about it!-
Kotetsu: I-
Izumo: Can you juts drop it!-
Kotetsu: Kotetsu: No!
Narrator: Izumo sharply starred at Kotetsu as if to pierce through him.
Kotetsu: -Because when we arrive to Konoha you would want to be you calm usual self in front of the Hokage..
Izumo: *Great sigh* ...That’s just it-I fail-
Kotetsu: It wasn’t our duty in the first place-it just happened and I think we did pretty good for that level of nukenin and Tsuande will agree..
Izumo: …
Narrator: Lowering his head slightly and closing his eyes, Izumo then began to regain his composure.
Izumo: Thank you..
Kotetsu: Your welcome..
Narrator: The pair then continued through the village, out the border and onto Hi no Kuni. Having stepped foot onto their land, they continued pacing through the wetlands.
Izumo: Wait!-Do you see that?
Kotetsu: I think so..
Izumo: Most likely intruders..
Kotetsu: Lets see!
Narrator: What is viewed in the far distance are several figures.

Figure 3: Maybe we should investigate first?
Figure 1: And give them the upper hand?
Figure 2: I suppose you’re right this time..
Figure 1: Then lets not give them the chance to get any nearer!-

Kotetsu: They seem to be shrouded-
Izumo: All the more reason to act carefully..
Narrator: The three cloaked figures leaped into the air and released a technique as the Konoha pair began to quickly back away.

Narrator: A tri assault is released by the three cloaked figures onto the Konoha shinobi pair.
Kotetsu: (In thought) Fast!
Izumo: (In thought) These are skilled techniques!-
Izumo: (Shouting) Fuuton: Yasei Reppuu no Jutsu!
Kotetsu: (Shouting) Doton: Koutai Puretou!

Narrator: Izumo chooses to go completely defensive as gales begin to develop all around him and Kotetsu decides with defense and offense.
Izumo: (In thought) That idiot!
Narrator: A portion of the ground around Kotetsu rises and quickly forms into several plates that float in a panel-like formation. He then uses the opportunity to invoke a few more hand seals.
Izumo: Kotetsu-you’re acting too reckless!
Kotetsu: (In thought) I have this!
Narrator: As his partner suspected, the plates begin to break apart due to several sparrows bursting and some more make their way past the broken plates onto Kotetsu; causing an instant explosion at the demand of figure 1.
Izumo: (Shouting) Kotetsu!
Kotetsu: Gya!
Narrator: His body is thrown various feet away as he lands with his back exposed. An injured Kotetsu then turns his body and views more swallows on course which provokes him to use the more defensive alternative he initially rejected.
Kotetsu: *Panting* Doton: Doryuuheki!
[Jutsu Insight]
Izumo: Gya!
Narrator: The gales of wind soon evaporate due to the force of the oncoming attacks and Izumo is hit.
Kotetsu: (Shouting) Izumo!
Figure 1: We got one-increase your chakra!
Figure 3: (In thought) When will this end!
Figure 2: Right!
Narrator: Due to the addition of chakra; their assault is empowered and quickly renders Kotetsu’s Earth wall useless as it too explodes. Debris and thick smoke is all that remains.
