The Amazing Adventures of Kotetsu & Izumo
Chapter 11: Missing
[Review on last chapter]
Note: Supposedly I'd release the newest chapter tomorrow (Tuesday) but I will most likely be too busy this week therefore an early release has been issued xd
Kotetsu: What do you mean me-what did I have to do with it?
Izumo: ...You almost drowned and as a result it left you in a comatose-like state..I thought you were never going to wake-
Kotetsu: But here I am..
Izumo: Then there is the nukenin-I've failed!
Kotetsu: Actually we both failed but we exhausted ourselves in our attempt to capture her and Tsunade will acknowledge that..besides we aren’t ANBU-
Izumo: But I had the chance to act as an ANBU and-
Kotetsu: Well I’m sure she will be brought in eventually-be it by us or not..
Izumo: Lets just prepare for camp..
Narrator: In the chilly night, the pair then took turns sleeping in case she was to reappear though Izumo possessed high doubts of the possibility.
Kotetsu: *Yawning* Izu..Izumo why haven't you woken me up?-
Narrator: He said somewhat surprised by his partner's unfamiliar expression.
Kotetsu: (In thought) No wonder he had that episode-I guess I never realized how important his duties were..
Izumo: I'm dreading our return-
Kotetsu: The nukenin huh?-Don't let that bother you as I've messed up many-
Izumo: Because you're!-
Kotetsu: I know..I'm more laid back but I've learned something from you and that is to never lose hope..
Izumo: ...
Kotetsu: Therefore we're going to return to Godaime's office with our heads held high knowing we gave it everything we had-and hand in the precious items..
Narrator: Having heard those words helped his partner to have a more positive outlook as he looked into the sunny sky.
Izumo: I apologize for my reactions-
Kotetsu: I understand
Izumo: Lets go..Tsunade-sama is waiting for these items..
Kotetsu: Yes! but you know..we never got to greet that grumpy old Kage-
Izumo: I think we're better off
Kotetsu: *Giggle* Oh!
Izumo: What is it?
Kotetsu: Our backpacks are missing!!!
Izumo: What!-Ah they must’ve been swept away by the nukenin’s flooding technique...
Kotetsu: Now what?
Izumo: We were supposed to take a short cut as the way we came is much longer..
Kotetsu: It seems as though we will have to greet the old man..shit!
Izumo: No-maybe we can locate a villager or someone from this land that may know the way!
Kotetsu: Your right!
Narrator: They then begin searching for anyone with directions. Although, due to Izumo remembering where Iwagakure lied from having previously scanned the map they head in that direction in case. Soon they come across what appeared to be a ninja in excessive training.
Ninja: Youton: Kazan Raitoshou!-
[Jutsu Insight]
Ninja: (In thought) Take that outsiders!
Narrator: Was stated in thought at the large mountain they deemed as a practice target.
Izumo: (In thought) Such passionate determination!
Kotetsu: (In thought) That's intense!
Narrator: Much to the pair's amazement, the ninja suddenly senses them from behind and turns their body in mid air as both sides catch glimpse of their respective headband symbols.
Izumo: (In thought) *Sigh* The Tsuchi symbol..
Narrator: The Tsuchi ninja proceeds to direct a jutsu at the two.
Tsuchi Ninja: (Shouting) Youton: Youyuu Kusari!
[Jutsu Insight]
Narrator: Steam can be seen trailing from behind the rocky chain that continued to extend out of the Tsuchi ninja’s hand onto the Konoha pair.
Izumo: (In thought) If we hadn't recovered from our fight with the nukenin we may not have been able to defend ourselves-
Izumo: Suiton: Hyoutenka Mizu no Jutsu!
Kotetsu: Suiton: Hyoutenka Mizu no Jutsu!
[Jutsu Insight]
Narrator: Within seconds the Konoha pair synchronize and use the same jutsu in conjunction to one another in order to counter the swift lava jutsu.
Tsuchi Ninja: (In thought) Suiton jutsu huh?-Not bad...
Narrator: As the attacks collide; a small explosion ensues and smoke proceeds.
Izumo: (Shouting) We’re not a threat!
Tsuchi Ninja: ...
Narrator: The Tsuchi ninja lands back onto the ground and expresses a suspecting glare.
Izumo: We’ve come here on behalf of our Hokage and she had informed your Kage of our visit.
Tsuchi Ninja: That may or may not be true-I’ve been training most of the time and haven’t spoken to him in awhile...just follow me!
Izumo: Thank you
Kotetsu: (In thought) Great-we’re in trouble again..
Tsuchi Ninja: Don’t thank me just yet-I might change my mind..now follow me or I’ll make you!
Kotetsu: (In thought) Scary!
Narrator: In order to avoid another brawl they do as the Tsuchi ninja asks. They then begin leaping from the mountainous area as the land becomes less hill-like and more rocky with narrow streams running across them.
Tsuchi Ninja: (In thought) There he is!-
Tsuchi Ninja: Oto-sama!

Kotetsu: (Whispering) I don’t see the resemblance-
*Jab*
Kotetsu: Ouch!
Izumo: Shut up!
Kurotsuchi: Oto-sama..I have a question concerning these two-
Kitsuchi: Oh-they must be the two expected to visit our land..
Kurotsuchi: I see..
Izumo: Thank you for confirming our status
Kitsuchi: Your welcome and did she give you any trouble?
Izumo: Well-
Kurotsuchi: I attacked them!
Kitsuchi: You should know better to assume first than question!
Kurotsuchi: Forgive me oto-sama..
Kitsuchi: Don’t mind my daughter as she is very loyal to our land-our village..so did you two just arrive?-
Kotetsu: (In thought) Easy for you to say-
Izumo: Actually we’ve already located what we came here for and ran into a Kiri nukenin-
Kitsuchi: You two okay?
Izumo: Yes but she escaped and we made sure to get word to the Mizukage
Kitsuchi: I see..to think one so dangerous as a nukenin would be hidden away in this land-I suppose I should thank you for-
Izumo: No your gratitude is not needed as we failed-
Kotetsu: Izumo!
Izumo: My apologies...we were actually on our way out when we noticed that we lost our map and we wanted to take a short cut but we knew without directions we’d lose our way
Kitsuchi: Say no more-Kurotsuchi lead them to the border!-Its the least we could do..
Kurotsuchi: Yes oto-sama!-
Kurotsuchi: (In thought) Dame it!
Izumo: We both thank you
Kitsuchi: Have a safe journey back..
Kotetsu: Thank you and we’ll try-
Kurotsuchi: Lets go..
Narrator: Due to her position she quickly faked her calm attitude even though she felt the opposite.
Kotetsu: (In thought) Shes kind of cute when not acting tough but still I think a little too masculine for my taste unfortunately..
Narrator: As the distance between them and her father increases she then drops her false peformance.
Kurotsuchi: I’am only doing this because he wants me too or else-
Izumo: Well we thank you..
Kurotsuchi: …
Narrator: Her right cheek inflated due to the embarrassment she felt after her father’s scolding.
Kurotsuchi: Here is our border and Kusagakure is in that direction straight ahead..
Izumo: We again thank you..
Kurotsuchi: *Blush* Whatever!
Narrator: She quickly turned her rosy face from the other’s sights before leaping off.
Izumo: Lets push forward!
Kotetsu: Ah!
Narrator: The pair then commence in their journey back to Konohagakure as they proceeded past the Tsuchi border. The landscape began to change lushly green indicating they had begun to step into new territory. Within a few hours later they encounter this country’s village.
Kotetsu: There is Kusagakure!
Izumo: Upon passing through here-we should be able to arrive before nightfall..
Kotetsu: Wow-our adventure will be coming to a close..
Narrator: He initially commented with a cheerful visage as it quickly turned gloomy once he finished.
Izumo: It was interesting to say the least..
Kotetsu: Yes-at the very least *giggle*
Narrator: As they began making their way past the village a group quickly passes them by with the one leading making eye contact with Izumo and suddenly commands his troop to stop.
Figure: (Shouting) Hault!
Izumo: Aren’t you-
