Ok. Those are reasonable concerns. And yeah, Tobi not being apart of it is weird, I admit. Maybe CC2 really just preferred the look of Pain being the leader (which is why his ST is the finisher and he's standing in the highest position) when in actuality Tobi was the shot-caller.
And there's also the fact that the pairs attack together or back-to-back. It had to be either Deidara and Sasori or Deidara and Tobi.

They weren't. They where anticlimactic in my opinion. They went out in degrading ways and they didn't really seem to have a believable reason to be working together.

They where cool but they lacked a good villainous prefomance.

Definitely. In my opinion, the Akatsuki combined landing a full frontal assault on the village as a team, should've been the final battle.

No, man. Used to when I was in high school and had more time on my hands.
I just decided to change usernames when that opportunity came. Went from lame "ItachiLeeHatake" to this.

They weren't. They where anticlimactic in my opinion. They went out in degrading ways and they didn't really seem to have a believable reason to be working together.

They were rogue ninja. The actions they each made throughout their lives were degrading and shameful already. They hurt many people, so it wouldn't have been right if they had glorious deaths imo
Only Itachi made immoral decisions because he had to. Everyone else did so because they wanted to.
And the manga gave clear explanations as to why each member joined. And we saw that their cooperation was dysfunctional

This group was dope and it was the Akatsuki which kind of brought me into this manga. I was looking for some Japanese Manga Cartoon to read and I happened to stumle across an Akatsuki promotional art with all the members together. They could've brought so much fear into the Ninja World if they attacked together but no because that would be too OP.

I was personally excited about the Itachi and Kisame duo.

Agreed, the akatsuki were badass, the most badass group I know, I like all of them bar zetsu and tobi, itachi's conversation with kisame was one of the best conversations I saw in naruto (when they first met), pain is just too much, ****ing badass with badass lines, they were scary af, if they had attacked at the same time, it will be the end of nv
