Chapter IX: An Unforeseen Turn of Events
Bishamon: Since everybody?s here, let the 27th Order of the Sages Summit commence!
Bishamon slammed his fist onto the table.
Bishamon: I?m sure you are all well aware of the state of the world.
Everyone nodded. Zanji Uchiha, a black haired man with shoulder-length hair and a chilling stare, spoke.
Zanji: The Five Kages are short three members. Almost a week ago, the 9th Hokage, Rei Uchiha, was presumed to have been assassinated. The culprit is still at large. *takes a deep breath* Immediately following that event, the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist village murdered the 7th Kazekage. Lastly, effective approximately 53 hours ago, the 8th Mizukage was killed by an unknown ninja, though I?m sure you are all well aware that the man behind the Mizukage?s death sits in this room today. Only two Kages remain in the shinobi world: the Tsuchikage and Kirabi, the Raikage.
Elias: Said as coldly as ever, Zanji. It?s no wonder you?re the Ice Sage.
Zanji: How nice of you to interrupt me, Elias.
Elias: No, no. Please continue
Zanji: As I was saying, with only two Kages left and the Cloud Village?s alliances with the Village Hidden in the Stones and the Hidden Mist Village, Kirabi will certainly take this advantage and strike every nation. The result will be the 6th Great Ninja War. Several powerful shinobi from each of the five great villages have defected and joined sides with Kirabi?s army. I foresee war knocking at our door.
Bishamon: *claps* Excellent speech, Zanji, but I was speaking. Rag and I were sent on a mission by Rei to do some investigation and liberation of several prisons in Kumogakure. Over the past week, we have successfully liberated 7 prisons with little to no injuries.
Ragnaroc: It was pretty easy O_O About 4 of those prisons had guards that fled upon realizing who we were.
Bishamon: Roku, I know of your mission, but please brief everyone else.
Roku: Of course Rei sent me on a top secret S-rank mission of the highest priority. She had assembled a team of four for me to lead, consisting of elite ninja, two of which are highly experienced apprentices to Bisha and the other two of which are S-class ninja of the leaf village who have excellent battle skills. We have one mission to be fulfilled: the execution of Kirabi. On our journey, we were first confronted by a swordswomen, Akiza, whom Goro defeated and later the two of the Seven Swordsmen. It came to my attention that the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist were, and still are, tracking us, so I decided to lead them here; using Wrath?s body was a decoy. I don?t expect them to get past the outer defenses or the Northern army, but in case they do, we?ll be here waiting for them. O_O
Hellsbadass: Leading them into a trap? That?s dirty. I like it! >:}
Akira: What do you suppose we do? A world war is almost upon us. O_O If we don?t step in fast, this war will be as good as over.
Ragnaroc: And Kirabi will command the world?s armies and enslave the people of our villages.
Madara: How can we be so sure we can maintain the balance of the world? With the Leaf and Sand without their respective Kages to lead them, Kirabi?s army has already won.
Ragnaroc: Unless a new Hokage is chosen to lead the Hidden Leaf and the Hidden Sand against the Hidden Cloud, Mist, and Stone villages?
Roku: I agree O_O
Zanji: I will do it.
Bishamon: No, Zanji. We can?t risk revolt in the Land of Snow over your command. We need someone whom we can temporarily put into power so that we can restore world peace by defeating Kirabi.
Roku: I know somebody O_O
Hellsbadass: Who?
Roku: Well, he?s not exactly the brightest bulb, but he?s sure got enough gusto to motivate the people of the leaf and lead them through a war until we take control of the situation. He?s a strong ninja: one of our village?s best. Although, he?s a bit ***-crazed.
Ragnaroc: Please tell me you aren?t requesting who I think ?smh-
Roku: His name is Hasashi O_O
Hiruzen and Kiwii stood up immediately.
Kiwii: You?ve got to be kidding me!
Hiruzen: Are you serious? Hasashi?!
Elias: You little kids really should sit down.
Elias pointed his hand next to Kiwii and Hiruzen and released a ball of black fire that was extremely hot. Hiruzen and Kiwii leaped out of the way for fear of dying.
Elias: We don?t want any mishaps ~_O
Kiwii: *clenches fists*
Madara: I?d listen to him if I were you. Another outburst like that and I?ll gladly demonstrate how, with a single zap, I can make you two look like hospitalized dogs drooling on a bedroll. -.O
Kiwii and Hiruzen: ._. yes, sir.
Bishamon: I?m for Hasashi being the temporary replacement until a more?suitable successor for Rei comes along. All in favor?
Everyone shook their heads in agreement.
Bishamon: As soon as war is declared, I shall deploy the Sage Army to combat the opposition?s forces O_O We will kill the Raikage and end the war once and for all.
MEANWHILE
Outside of the stronghold, Emperor finished devouring an enemy that was lying on the ground, almost dead, next to several other dead enemies. He was facing two of the Seven Swordsmen, their leader nowhere to be found.
Emperor: Hmph?Spade tasted better than Ingwer. I hope you guys taste better than them. I?m getting hungrier!
Emperor formed the serpent seal and plant vines quickly wrapped around Ali and Bigen. Bigen tried to force water out of his sword to slice the vines, but the plants absorbed the water and grew stronger. Ali held his fire daggers tightly and burned through the vines. Ali spit fire from his mouth, but Emperor dodged it and got close enough to deal a powerful finishing blow to Ali, but, abruptly, a sword sliced through Emperor?s neck like it was butter. Emperor?s head flew into the air, with him smiling as he died.
Emperor: Clean shot from behind?Kaito?you?ve become?x_x
Kaito, from behind Emperor, pushed Emperor?s body over and wiped the blood off his sword.
Kaito: No more cannibal plants to deal with. Thanks for giving me an opening, guys.
Ali: He killed Ingwer and Spade, and had you not come, we might have been next !!O_O
Kaito: No matter. We succeeded in killing him, and reinforcements are almost here.
Ali: Who is our reinforcement?
Kaito: The entire Kirigakure army, led by the Admiral.
Ali: Admiral?
Kaito: Well, Kirigakure has only a Navy because battles are always done on the waterfront. If not, they can make their own waterfront. Their leader is calm, cool, and shrewd. He can be devastatingly scary, but he?s a nice person when he wants to be. When it comes to battle, he?s easily Kirigakure most powerful ninja aside from the God of the Silent Killing technique, Hells.
Ali: Sounds scary O_O
Kaito: *sighs* I don?t know what lies in this fortress, but whatever it is, Roku won?t be able to stay in there forever. Wrath?s trace leads here. Let?s take them out, now!
???: I wouldn?t do that if I were you.
Kaito turned in surprise and then bowed to his knee to show respect. Ali and Bigen did the same.
Kaito: Admiral Izuna! U_U
Izuna: You really plan on going in there on your own when you have idea what awaits?
Kaito: But?we have the advantage.
Izuna calmly stepped forward, now standing in front of his army of Mist shinobi.
Izuna: Is that what you think? Well, then you obviously have no idea who you?re dealing with. Alimujtaba, tell me who your target(s) are U_U
Ali: *trembles* Roku Kiyoshi and his team, sir.
Izuna: Correct. Lieutenant Commander, give me the file on Roku Kiyoshi.
The lieutenant commander handed Izuna the file. Izuna opened it.
Izuna: Roku Kiyoshi. Height: 71.8 inches. Overall battle skill, out of 40, 38.5. That?s higher than the average of the five Kages last week before three of them had been killed, which was only 35 when averaged out. Let?s see. Roku Kiyoshi is an extremely deadly shinobi from the Hidden Leaf village who has mastered every element to a tremendous extent and created several elements unique to himself, like some powerful shinobi of the world. He is known as the Leaf?s Musical god of the sun for his stunningly bright array of jutsu and unique Music Arts. Roku also founded the Kiyoshi Clan and mastered chakra philosophy. Graduated from the academy at age 5, became a Chunin at age 7, Jonin at age 9, and classified as S-class by age 11. By age 16 he was inducted into International Council of Jonin. By age 17, he became the guardian of Konohagakure. ~_O What else do we have? Ah, here we go. Mission record. 23 D-rank, 247 C-rank, 344 B-rank, 781 A-rank, and 378 S-rank! I kid you not when I say YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU?RE DEALING WITH! This man is very calculated. This man could have outdone each of you if he was 10 years younger! Believe me. We used to battle all the time. We were rivals, in fact, for the position of Water Sage. Yes. You fools have been led straight to a trap!! If I guess correctly, there?s a Sage meeting being held and you and my army are the guests of honor. Each person in there is well beyond a Kage in skill. Then we have Goro, who's skill is on par with a Kages or even greater, Hiruzen, Kiwii, and Ace. A bit easier to deal with than the Sages, but still credible threats.
Kaito: Forgive us! We had no idea.
Izuna: You still seem a bit confident in your skills Kaito. Trust me; if my army was not here to back you three up, you would be dead before you could even launch an attack. I have information memorized about the people I am sure are in there. Hellsbadass assassinated the Mizukage a few days ago. He is probably the most powerful shinobi the Hidden Mist has ever produced and somewhat of a mentor to me. But I know his weakness. Women *smirks*. Ragnaroc, a Wind master and Uchiha from Konoha. He defeated the Kazekage at one point a few years ago in a tournament. His weakness: his temper and unbendable will. Elias Shumoto, innovator of Dark Fire and the man who evaporated an entire lake to make the people of the Yohaku village starve to death, thus preventing a war betweem Kirigakure and Sunagakure. His weakness: his arrogance and fury. Madara Uchiha, perhaps the most powerful lightning user to ever exist and master of the sharingan, he is said to be able to command the storms. His weakness: his jocularity. The last person I know of to be in here for sure is the infamous Bishamon Sarutobi. Most likely, BishamonSama is the greatest shinobi that ever lived, with the exception of the Sage of Six Paths. His weakness: ?he has none. These things need to be thought through. Luckily, I did. Their target will undoubtedly be Kirabi, but with the amount of power Kirabi has, even the Sages won?t stand much of a chance. I know exactly how to control this situation. Kaito, Ali, and Bigen, you three will be the 2nd ones to enter the scene, and you will strike, with deadly precision, each of the Sages. You will likely be deflected or miss and that is when I will send in the army to make one big surprise attack. I hope you?re ready for this, kiddos. Let?s begin. Nero?you know what to do U_U

Bishamon: It is official! The 6th Great Ninja War is imminent!
The wall on the right side of the room from Bishamon?s perspective exploded and everyone turned. Nero walked in casually with his sharingan activated.
Nero: Did someone say war?! O-o
Nero and Ragnaroc locked eyes.
Ragnaroc: -_- what a bother. Always annoying me, you little rat.
Nero: Don?t be so harsh cousin, Rag! o.o Besides?this time, you won?t be able to beat me up.
