the 4th in Sage mode

I know the predicament that we have here, but we as you say we also dont know that he doesnt have it. I just find it highly strange that if he didnt have it, why? I think surely if you had the opportunity to become stronger and better, you would grab it with both hands, especially if you see what happened with Naruto + Jiraya in sagemode.

i guess that could be true, but at the same time he was a genuis of his time. maybe he didn't just didn't need it. but yea.. who knows..

But now my other request if people can prhapse find, or create pics of the 4th with (potential) Sage mode on him, if they can past it here it would, be kinda cool ; )

i was just wondering, do any of you have pics on the 4th in sage mode? I think they state that he also had a contract with the frogs, and that the jman taught him about sage arts aswell? I was just wondering and found it strange, that there is no elaboration in the manga about how powerful the 4th was/could have been in sage mode? Im just imagining him kicking ass with his jitus's while he's busy in sage mode?

the fourth never achieved sage mode.. Otherwise he would be overwhelmingly powerful. I mean come on guys lets think back.. Flying thunder god technique and sage mode thats just absurd lol

is it really tho?? i mean madara can teleport any part of his body that he wants!!! now let that sink in for just a second.....now does it seem absurd to have both sage mode and flying thunder god?!?! not really, and someone said earlier that maybe minato only knew the frogs because he summoned gamabunta, because naruto summoned gamabunta and didnt have sage mode, here is my response
1. yes naruto summoned gama wit out sage mode, but he also didnt know fukasaku when he did that, naruto met fuka specifically bcause jman wanted naruto trained in the sage arts, had naruto not been trained in the sage arts he would not have known fuka.
2. sage mode is only for those with large amounts of chakra, a very large amount of chakra is needed to summon gama, minato could summon gama, meaning he had a large enough chakra reserve to both summon gama, fight the kyuubi and gaara, and seal the kyuubi within naruto all in one night. i dont know about you guys but that sounds like minato had an enormous chakra reserve. i mean the 3rd could barely seal the 1st, 2nd, and oro's arms, after summoning the monkey king, which i doubt took as much chakra as a gama summoning.
im not saying he was definately a sage, but with the info we have been given, it points to minato at least having the potential to undergo sage training.

I was reading that today when i was looking for a response to another question and if the fourth knew fukasaku (Pa) or vice versa how ever you want to phrase it and had enough chakra there has to be a strong possibility that he had sage mode... He had enough chakra to do everything but beat a nine tailed beast with unlimited chakra but did seal it way

i believe in the manga they said at one point that there were others who went to myobukuzan to learn sage mode training 4th might have been one of them?

Now what would Fukasaku be reffering to if not to sage mode.

I see no evidence that this is the case. Minato had a contract with the toads. That means he could summon/reverse summon, but that does not in itself (nor the quotes by the toads) mean that Minato had sage mode. It's an interesting theory, but not something to be taken as fact.

As far as the seals on the Kunai go. Minato was a sealing genius, and it wasn't exactly a reverse summon as far as we know. The summon was invoked by chakra touching the kunai I believe, and while it is fully possible he go the idea from summoning jutsu, it doesn't mean he had sage mode to do it. So far we haven't seen Jiraiya or Naruto use sage mode for summons. They have done it independently.

Finally, when reading between the lines, the reader is making a supposition that is not directly evidenced by the writer, thus not fact but theory. It's interesting though.
