Anyways, I'd say Queen, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, in that order.

This is an impossible question to answer for there may be bands that most people like but others dislike and say another band is better and with that being said I dont think there is "4 greatest bands in the world"

by quality:

1. Led Zeppelin (Page is only contested by Hendrix, Plant is an epic rock singer (best if you ask me) and Bonham is the beest drummer according to most ppl who know their rock)
2. The Beatles (well they are The Beatles ...)
3. Pink Floyd
4. Queen
