So in the latest anime, we see Kabuto summoning the 3-Tailed Beast.

What is the deal with that?
So there is no Jinchurriki?
Who is the girl holding up the Number 3?

I'm confused, can anyone enlighten me please?

I just assumed the 3-tails has been released by the jinjurichhi to take a bath.
Because when the 3-tails arch was announced, Naruto was saying he would not let the jinjurichi die (and the demons cannot die).

Two Jinchuuriki's Bijuu were extracted by different means by their respective villages, these Jinchuuriki are the 3 Tails and the 7 Tails.

Those are probably the past Jinchuuriki to the now wild bijuu(anime) or the first captured Bijuu(manga). The first two bijuu captured out of nine were the 3 tails and the 7 tails, because they were already released from their Jinchuuriki by extraction. Then they proceeded with the sealing of the Jinchuuriki: 1 Tail, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8(not yet), 9(Not gonna happen).

Now the Anime is at a filler point, at the moment, they are just nonsense episodes irrelevant to the manga. They do this normally to give Masashi Kishimoto more time to develop manga ideas and art, as well as confer them with his crew to see what is appropriate to attract more viewers/fans.

I wouldn't say not gonna happen, but more not gonna happen in the near future. As much as people like the kyuubi, and think that it's an important character in the story, it really isnt if you think about it. There is still a possibility that Naruto WILL have the kyuubi removed, which in turn allows him to discover his kekkei genkai, which the kyuubi may have been suppressing so that naruto wasnt able to control him. (I read a theory/prediction on this from another thread... I think it was on this forum.)

we know nothing of the Uzumaki heritage, only that they were from the former whirlpool country, or whether or not they have a kekkei genkai. This would explain why the first was the only senju that was capable of using elemental combination, because his mother was possibly of Uzumaki lineage. Combined with the Senju's chakra resistance (as shown in naruto and his ability to resist the kyuubi's chakra) makes for a pretty powerful combination. Another example would be Haku, who was also from the former whirlpool country (coincidence? I think not.), using Hyouton (wind+water) element. So he could have had some Uzumaki blood in him as well. And that would also explain why we know nothing about the uzumaki clan, because they were wiped out because of their kekkei genkai. (the reason the whirlpool country had their war in the first place, to kill off all clans with kekkei genkai. as seen with haku.)

I know this isnt as well explained as it could be, but i'm a bit tired right now. If you would like to look more into that, I implore you to look for that post I mentioned, it was very well researched/thought out.

And I believe we'll see a fight in full transformation before this ever happens, giving kyuubi lovers their fix

I have some other thoughts:

1. The 3-Tailed Jinchurriki is from the Hidden Rain Village. Correct? This is the home of Nagato and Pein. This country was always at war. Therefore, we can assume that this woman did NOT exist in the past
(ie the time in between when Senju dispersed the Beasts... and before Pein took power)
This also is supported by the idea that IF the Hidden Rain village did have a Jinchurriki, it would have been able to stop the battles, that led to Pein being created by Nagato.

2. Orochimaru is after the 3-Tailed beast in order to thwart Akatsuki's plans. However, didn't Pein or Madara state that only the 9 and 8 Tailed Beasts remained to be captured? SO somehow the 3-Tailed beast gets captured by Akatsuki.

3. If the above 2 are correct... then when does this woman come into play? Is she not really a "Jinchurriki", but possess the ability to control a tailed beast?
(If this is true, it could play into that linked theory- of the Uzamaki Kekkei Genkei, being associate with the old Whirlpool Country.)

4. If the above are NOT correct... that means that girl was BORN with the Bijuu in her. This had to have taken place then BEFORE Pein killed Hanzo "the Salamander". If this is true, the girl could have been kept in FULL Bijuu form and sealed under the water, to hide from Pein.

5. If the above is true... it means that the Bijuu is actually a Jinchurriki, that has been sealed away in that form for a long long time. Does Kabuto and Orochimaru really believe 6 Crystal towers will imprison the 3-Tailed Beast... I think not... I think it is just temporary, until Kabuto can reverse the 100% form of the Jinchurriki. Then we will see the woman... who will be completely out of it, and believe anything and anyone, because she won't have a clue of what all has happened.

In the manga, we are at a point where only 2 jinkurichis remain, but not in the anime. We have only seen how the 2-tails was killed.

look at the similarities between the person holding up 3 fingers and the kid in the anime....anyone think that orochimaru is trying to seal the bijuu in the kid??maybe use the body as a vessel.....i mean there is a scar on the face aswell and the hair has changed a bit but it would make sense....i mean the kid also goes on about the flowers....(look in the picture see the green flower behind him?.....)

in the manga version, i think tobi and deidara captured the 3tailed beast. means oro didn't succeeded? and the girl maybe was the host before the beast got set free?

i looked back the episode where deidara/tobi captured the 3tailed beast. it didnt show if the girl turns 3 tailed beast before she got captured. since their was time skip, do u think the girl indeed the host and turned 3tailed beast but defeated by tobi?
