well i think that viz media and Banzai or whateva they are, should make websitees for their anime and just put adds on them they would make so much more money and it's not very hard they are actually just missing out on profit by not doing it, and people will want to watch them on those sites cos they'll be in better quality and it will support their anime.. i know this hasn't got much to do with them directly but still

Just a rough Estimate. The Voting is Done on the 24th. Im guessing it takes a day or 2 for it to get passed/Declined
Most of us are looking at this as bad things. (Which i do agree) But alot of people not looking at it from others.
People Write books for living and sing for living. but how can they Make money when people are reading it or listening to it for free? Im Against it to be honest. Cause im the 1st to say i Download music *COUGH*THEBADWAY*COUGH*

honestly, if I were a writer or artist I wouldn't mind people reading or downloading my stuff for free because Im supposed to be doing what I love and be happy people are enjoying it, and besides theres always those who pay for it, the better you are the more who pay. If your truly a success at your job money wouldnt be a factor. If you want more money, find ways like everyone else does. lol. :izuna:

i hope that they understand that if they accept this, than more than 80% of ALL PEOPLE (maybe from whole world) that this would effect would stop using internet, i mean, i know for sure i wouldn't visit NB if i would have to pay, i love NB, but i won't pay :|

Even if SOPA passes, don't forget that NB is based in Europe. SOPA only applies in the USA and contents hosted or originating from it.
Also, they have tried to restrict things in the internet since the day it was created. The problem is the minds they have on their side are less talented and intelligent than the ones on "our" side. So basically, for each attempt they make to restrict things or control things, more ways to avoid or bypass that control will be found.
So no, NB will not likely be affected. And even if they do try, ways to bypass it will be found.
