smh whats wrong with you guys? do any of you guys know history at all?
George Washington set the example that a President should serve only a maximum of 2 terms. he set that example because some say, or maybe he had even said it himself, that a President shouldnt serve more then 2 terms. all the presidents after Washington folloed his example..
then FDR being a douche served 4 terms like wtf?! so then they made that rule that a president can only serve 2 terms because more then 2 is too much for one person to have all that power.. its argueable that 8 years isnt sufficient enough for a person to do good by the country and try to change things. but also its dangerous to give a person with presidential powers and give him the oppurtunity to be commander in chief for unlimited terms- like someone said before imagine what would happened if Bush or Nixon would have tried that and succeeded?!
and the people truly dont elect the presidents, lol
