Only 2 terms per president rule is the dumbest rule ever..... Here are the reasons.

1. Goes against everything america stands for.

2. It is the people's choice to who should lead them

3. 8 years aren't always plenty to do stuff.. and FDR was a proof of this.



People defend the rule by saying , " IT helps avoid dictatorship".. uh the people elect the president so how the hell is that a dictatorship.

It is put in place so one person does not stay in power for a very long time and for fear of establishing a "dictatorship".

There are people who would just vote for someone just for the simple fact they like them and there are plenty of people who do not dislike them yet what if they were the president for the rest of their time? How would that be fair?

And I hope you do know He supported Democracy and stayed within the limits of it. President can only controll the Executive Branch. If he has influence over the other branches its not his problem.. It just means the Goverment is more into him. Just cause someone has influence over multiple things doesn't mean they are dictators.. And your forgetting that the People chose him for president over and over =D. Which led to more stability.

Not true. He tried to create laws which allowed him to control other parts of the gov't. they were all eventually shot down, but he still managed to appoint his friends to the supreme court anyway. He was basically a dictator. You really only know what you're fifth grade text book told you, try reading an 8th grade one, this is all common knowledge.
