Not just the hidden leaf but other villages as well and I'll repeat innocent lives were taken from the villages by these villains, please list where Naruto killed or destroyed innocent lives or threatened peace. And your making a claim as if Naruto just brushed aside the fact that the hidden leaf has done bad things along as other villages, he knows that and he changed the old way when villages were against one another harming innocent people. You should put these claims against Danzo who seeked to destroy the Uchiha instead of trying to give Itachi and Shisui a chance to seize the attack
Of course other villages too. But they don't have anyone from their village talking this peace shit like Naruto. And if there's any, they're most likely dead due to being too weak to follow their white hat ways.
I never said that. He is white hat all the way. What i'm saying He straight up calling gray hat and black hat wrong when villains rock them forgetting the fact that Kakashi rock that gray hat all the time and would put on the black hat when it come down to it.
That's what bothering me. He confronted all these villains, but never once confronted the hidden leaf village about it. Which make him a hypocrite. He is on that "I'll give all the black and gray hats in the hidden leaf village a pass, but i won't let them make a hard decision anymore, I'll do all the decision" BS.
At least Danzo acknowledge himself. He know his methods are extreme but will go the whole way. A pure black hat and is proud of it.
List down these bad people of the leaf that Naruto pardoned
They're not bad people when they're doing what it take to protect their village. I'm simply saying that naruto have no problem pointing fingers at the villains for what they're doing. But he won't point a single finger at his own village. He should've at least go and try to talk to the elders of the hidden leaf village about the uchiha massacre when clearly Obito told him that the elders made itachi do it. He didn't try to accuse Danzo of anything when Nagato clearly told him that Danzo had a hand in killing attacking him and his people.
He didn't try to explain to his classmates why Sasuke is the way he is. He kept everything to himself and decided to play God over everybody else.
The only one that learned the truth behind the Uchiha massacre was Sasuke from Tobi, Naruto along with the rest of K11 weren't told about this, it was kept a secret. He didn't explain things to the rest of K11 about Sasuke's ways because they wouldn't understand the exclusive bond the two of them held, do you remember when they all planned to kill him?. And like I said he took note the fact that ALL the villages has done bad things including his own village which is why he was so moved on the fact of working together as a team, same as Ashura
umm dude Tobi told Naruto, Kakashi and Yammto too.
Anyway, there should've been a chapter where Naruto talk to the 5th hokage about the village's history.
Maybe we will see this in them novels that will cover the 10 years period.
Kishimoto made Naruto a bit cringe worthy at times during the War Arc, but before that he was the best. His goals were never unrealistic. What is unrealistic about wanting to become the Hokage? To surpass the Hokage's before him? Everyone has dreams, to maybe rise from the ashes and become the next big thing. Everyone is also different though.
Kishimoto took TnJ too far, and that is what led to him becoming a little bit different from the old Naruto. A messiah. Right now though I believe Naruto as an Hokage will be one of the best, considering he is doing what Hashirama wanted since the beginning. Everyone working together, not as shinobi, but as comrades. I never really liked Hashirama and he always felt like a Goku-copy. I respect Naruto more on a social and emotional level, and that is also why I believe Part 3 - Hokage Naruto will be a great character. Seeing how he finally reached the goal Kishimoto set him up for fifteen years.
I can't....part 2 feel too rushed to me. Naruto's development...I just can't like a character who had never put on a black or gray hat before.
I think the war arc should've taken place like a year or 2 after pain arc. It would've given enough time for Naruto to go through some type of development. That waterfall shit was lightweight lame. Yeah, your great enemy is yourself but really come on, that shit ain't nothing compare to what nagato, sasuke, itachi, madara, kakashi, or any other shinboi went through to put on a gray or black hat.
I would like Naruto more if he experience a event where he felt powerless and couldn't change outcome before the war started. That neji death was kool, but he had hinata to pick him right back up. I just want him to experience that feeling for a few weeks.
What do you mean black or grey hat? Naruto was a capable and serious fighter. The only problem was that he never got to kill, but Sasuke never killed up until the Itachi Arc. Naruto never held back against Pain nor Kakuzu. Nagato was a different story.
I agree so much with you on the second paragraph. Kishimoto should of stopped Naruto there so that he could get time to reflect on what he needed to do with his characters and their development.
Agree with the last too
I can't remember a fight when he never tried to kill them. Care to elaborate? He always went full force.White hat is fighting without the intention to kill. Your goal is to save the person no matter what. EX: Naruto, mighty guy(this why he could never join the black ops)
Gray hat is try not to kill, but if it come down to it, kill the person to achieve your goal. EX: hebi Sasuke, Kakashi, jiraiya, and almost all the experience ninja in the all of the villages.
Black hat is kill no matter what to achieve your goal. EX: Danzo, nagato, Madara, Obito, taka Sasuke
I can't remember a fight when he never tried to kill them. Care to elaborate? He always went full force.
Naruto never held back against Itachi when he fought him in the early stages of Shippuden. He killed him in fact (The clone Itachi-copy that turned out to be someone else). Naruto brought Kakuzu down but was too tired/drained to finish the job, and I see no valid reason for him not wanting to kill since he was never shown not to. Are we forgetting how angry Naruto was when he met Pain? He could barely stop himself from wanting to kill him. It was shortly after that Arc in where that thought transcended into saving every individual.
F them angry moment. I wanna see him kill! I want to see him commit a sin, then feel guilty and shit, then come back to his peaceful side. I want him to have blood on his hands. He should've killed some of them hidden leaf village folks when the 9 tailed was out when fighting pain. That way, we would see how he handle that kind of pain.
Since he never had felt powerless and watch people die in front of him with nobody to pick him back up, he have no right to tell Nagato, obito, or sasuke what they're doing is wrong and shit.
How you can come to this realization is beyond reasoning. You are bouncing between extremes with no real merit and meandering between whatever suits your agenda. First you say Naruto needs to listen to his leaders and stop trying to carry the load alone, then you say he has to stop pretending the village is "full of black hats", which would thereby be following everything they say in allowing it to continue. You're cherry-picking.The hidden leaf village done the same shit. The problem is Naruto is trying to rock that white hat to the fullest when that hidden leaf village is full of gray and black hats.
Naruto thinks he is too good to ever cross the line to put on a gray or black hat.

The reason Naruto is at the forefronts and commands control is because that's what heroes do. As he says, the Hokage is the one who protects his people from the dangers of this world and takes the brunt of the burden so others don't have to feel that pain. That is Naruto's virtue, as was echoed by Hashirama, Minato, and Hiruzen as well. Naruto not only embodies that in his Hokage reign, but as a person.
He's always gone balls-to-the-wall, willing to give life and limb to help others. Look at the way he desperately wanted to save Gaara, how he fought to save Sasuke, how he protected his friends and comrades in the War. He truly loves EVERYONE, because knows the truest pain in this universe: loneliness. And that's a pain nobody deserves, to rot in isolation, completely alone. And no matter what a person has done, no matter where they come from, Naruto has the innate ability to reach that point in people. He can relate because at one time he was just like them. He felt the deep hatred and burning rage that Gaara felt, the need for acceptance that Obito felt, he knows the pain of losing loved ones like Nagato- he knows how that can make a person snap. And that's why Naruto is a beacon for a broken, turbulent shinobi world.
He's the ONLY one capable of staring that down and pressing forward. He refuses to accept that side of life, to allow someone to wallow in misery no matter what they've done so long as they have desire to change. He had every intent to punish Obito as he said in 653, but that doesn't mean he's willing to throw his life away.
That's the difference between Naruto, Hashirama, and Ashura and Sasuke, Madara, and Indra. One side knows the value of love, cooperation, and endures hatred while the other side embraces it and takes the easy way out.
"It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get."
- Confucius
This is why Naruto is such a marvel, however, I will concede there are a few instances where even I scratched my head. Every character has them in this series. At the end of the day, Naruto and Hashirama are inspirational, amazing, kind, gentle, and compassionate individuals with hearts like lions. Naruto is my boy and I ride or die for him anytime, but Hashirama is the truth too. They fight for what's right, believe in unity and peace, and have refused to back down from opposition. Absolutely no shame in that.

What can I say, I bleed orange.Damn this comment is nice ~ +Rep
He never once killed innocent people or lost people like they did. All them folks didn't have people to pick them back up like Naruto had during his fight with pain and obito. Him being able to relate to them is ass on so many levels. That is the problem here.
Naruto is able to do those things because he have the power to do it. If shit don't work out for him, he got the 9 tailed fox back him up out of the corner. hashirama....we need more information on him....but then again, he was able to do all those things because he was stupid strong. Beside Hashirama lost a brother. So he TRULY understand Madara. Naruto haven't lost shit at all. He cannot understand another person like Sasuke. It is straight up ass for the way he is acting.
I'm not saying that naruto should stop fighting for what he believe. All I'm saying is he should stop acting he is no different from other people when he is truly different from other.
One of the reason why Madara respected hashirama because he know that he lost a brother too. They both can relate to each other.
Naruto can't with Sasuke beside the pain of being so call "lonely". That losing jiraiya shit don't count and can't be comparable to what Sasuke had lost.
if you want Naruto to be the best character in anime history, kill his wife or one of his kids, then show that he can still carry on the hokage title. After that, I'll acknowledge him as one of the best character in anime history.
What can I say, I bleed orange.

The only thing that's "ass" is this pre-conceived notion you have that Naruto thinks he's different. He's never given any indication or shouted from the rooftops he's better than other people, he merely fights for what he believes in which is why he has the full support of every noteworthy ninja he's ever run into.
What's more, who are you to say the pain he felt doesn't count? Jiraiya was like a father to him. Naruto was berated and broken down completely as a 5 year old child. How about you as a mere toddler walk outside to people outwardly wishing you dead, pulling their kids away from you like you carried a disease, heard adults whisper and talk about you when they running you out of public? You clearly have 0 respect for the identity crisis that would cause, the pure hatred of people that would spawn in a person. You wouldn't last a day of Naruto's life.
On top of that, he was alone for literal 13 years. Not a soul cared about him. He made his own way in life, expected nothing, then finds his godfather. Did you just skip over the bond they shared? All the great times they had, all the training they spent, the beautiful relationship depicted between them? How about I kill the only person to ever show you love and acceptance and tell you it doesn't mean shit? You have some inherent disfunction if you look at orphans who've never had families and say it doesn't mean anything.
Naruto has nothing left to prove. He's already run the gamut and shown you can't stop him through everything thrown at him. Lost his parents, lost his sensei, lost his entire CHILDHOOD, but wait that doesn't mean shit right?
You have a clear and biased agenda and are merely looking for somebody to pat you on the back and agree with you on that context alone, built on a false crusade because you have something against what Naruto and Hashirama stand for. Hence this ridiculous back-and-forth and circular logic you keep shouting of him having to lose something, when he's already lost everything at one point. Naruto has only now gained what he's wanted his whole life- a family. You have no right to say he doesn't deserve that.
