While a movie’s box office numbers are a good sign of its popularity or the level of anticipation it was able to muster, one could argue that Blu-ray sales are an indicator of just how beloved that title is. It’s one thing to buy a ticket to see a film once, and another to pay a premium price to own that film forever. Knowing this has to make you wonder what the biggest Blu-ray sellers of all time are – and fortunately we are here to provide that bit of interesting information.

It has been revealed by the movie tracking website The Numbers that a new film has taken over the number one spot of the all-time best selling Blu-ray rankings, so we thought it an appropriate time to do a bit of analysis to see which titles from the past few years have continued to dominate the charts. Some of the answers will surprise

I mean honestly its ok good at best but some people make it out to be the best movie ever? Damn Hollywood and Media corporations really know how to sell to young kids

Why is Frozen and Avatar so hype? Frozen is for little girls and Avatar just sucked.

The only ones up there I can accept are Inception and Dark Knight Rises. I like Hangover but that was a surprise.

I haven't seen all of those movies but most of them look real shit.

Thanks for the info, though.

I'm surprised that Despicable Me 2 is on that list. It's those little yellow guys I guess.

I did see it and it's much better than Frozen. Those Disney princess movies are all pretty much the same.
