There was no need for this all flashbacks in this chapter. We only found out Obito got the Intel from Kakashi. We knew since chapter 597 that Obito and Kakashi would fight against each other to death.

What will prolly happen later on is Tobi changing minds and teaming up to destroy Edo-Madara.
Tobi will see his past self inside Naruto and cry.
Will use his last kamui along with kakashi to help naruto beat madara.
