I honestly find it hard to believe you’ve missed the point on these “not a kids show” threads you make on a daily basis, yet here we are again
its true thoughI honestly find it hard to believe you’ve missed the point on these “not a kids show” threads you make on a daily basis, yet here we are again
Eaxctly. Even Part 1 Naruto with its gritty atmosphere was still a kids show in itself.
Part 2 glorifies what Naruto was, a teenage-drama with hard core male on male bromance.
Naruto series was never that DARK, it had dark moments, but it wasn't categorized as adark series. If you want a dark series, take a look at this:

Naruto will never be this dark.
Boruto wont even come close
its true though
the fact that OP has to try to justify the series not being a kids show is proof enough that it is
boruto series is a shounen
not a seinen
No proof of that. she said it from her assBel said he survived tho.
Wow colorfu bearsl getting compared to people impaled and blood all over? bad trollficThe fate series are freaking glorious.
I think that before Naruto/Boruto series, 123Fire was an avid fan of the care bears therefore he considers Boruto to be dark and violent, lets not forget that he probably saw a censored version of Naruto. It all makes sense..

This also has a bit of violence to it. The bears are holding hands in some sort of sacrificial stance, while emitting light from objects engraved into their bellies.
Animal cruelty right here.
I never said it's an adult anime. it's for teens IMOExactly, that’s what I was getting at, he’s using nothing but blood as proof, a lil darkened blood when people get hurt in a show about ninja doesn’t make it adult, the show is still very much themed and geared like your typical shounen series. It’s How it’s written, even then, if the series were to all of a sudden be adult, it’d be a juxtaposition on how the series just generally is. This isn’t even to say it won’t have dark moments here and there, but it will never be an adult show in the same way something like say “goosebumps” will never be considered adult horror

It’s more preteen imo, but I can agree with teen somewhat, what it isn’t though is dark, nothing dark has really happened yet, and the posssibly darkest things that did happen, where off gaiden which wasn’t part of boruto to begin with

Elfin Leif and Clatmore yo! Those got pretty messy too. At the most (and this ya a bit of a stretch) Boruto would be PG-13 here in the states.
Like Salamader states above, different countries have different standards on what’s kid friendly. But I agree Boruto/Naruto isn’t really a dark or adult anime. It just has some lightly dark moments is all but generally is still for a younger audience.
Why ignore the manga? a KARA member was burned alive the manga already reach that dark turning point kishi mentioned
What's this like your 38th thread on this? I got a question for you 123. Is the Boruto anime rated R or PG-18?
It’s not the results that make it dark, it’s the action itself, yea the dude got burned, but all we see is a fireball and shaded corpse that’s supposed to be burnt. It’s not what’s shown, but how. Anywho I’m 99.9% sure that’s nowhere near the dark turn their talking about. It was surprising though
Agreed with both.
@Infinite - Fact. Kishimoto stated that Boruto was a show that the "kids can enjoy" but will have a dark turning moment in the future.
That establishes that the series is kid friendly, but will have some questionable moments here and there. But its not being written for you to take it seriously, whereas Naruto implied that the series was graphic to the extent of what characters went through. But even then that fell flat.
PG 14 and up. since in PG 13 they censor blood according to japan tv rules

Who said it's adults????? Said teeeeeeeeens teeeeens teeeeeens!!!!!! Jesus christ ages 14 to 18 think!!!You must be registered for see images
Anything below PG-17 kids and children can watch, but might need an adult to watch. But seeing as this is a weekly show and online at that, it's suitable for kids (and is a kids show); is not an adult show. Last I checked no one needed to show ID to get into the cinema to watch Boruto the movie. Even though there's blood and Boruto a kid kills someone. Why's that? I thought this was not a kids film?
The thing here is that the anime is not graphic at all. Neither in terms of gore/blood neither in psychology.
Like I said, the father of Simba in the Lion King dying is more violent than anything the Boruto anime has shown so far. Mufasa is killed by his own brother while trying to save his son, wth, right?
