Exactly. You can push the opponent back with this jutsu, OR weaken other jutsus with this one. You can also state how much power you put behind this jutsu as it would affect the usage in battle. Try to ALWAYS be detailed during any battle.
For the next jutsu, I would you like you to think back to the concept of the four small gusts we created in order to hide shurikens in it. In the same way, start spinning your chakra in four different positions around you. Once you have created small pillars of spinning wind around you, I'd like you to direct them all towards me. Or, if you have learned Katon already, set the pillars on fire when you do so.

It's a jutsu that's literally done by swiping the area in front of you with Wind. Very efficient and fast.
For this next one, start by sending your chakra out in front of you to create a small gust. Make sure that the gust has equal power on either side of it. When I release my own Wind attack against you in a few moments, make sure that it is strong enough to neutralize it when I do so.
