Let us move on then. This time, instead of focusing your Raiton chakra into your hand, I want you to focus on letting it surround and blanket your body. Push it out from the pores of your skin and let it cover you like a shield.

How do you think you would use this in a battle? Which jutsus does this defend best against?

This would help against close range earth based attacks
as soon as they touched you you could destroy them stopping any harm
such as giant earth spikes

Nope, this also defends very well against Taijutsu. And spikes...that come from underneath, so it won't work well or fast enough. But nonetheless...

Then, after you have done that, move to a nearby rock and then attempt to break through it with your Raiton chakra. Please judge the power of your jutsu wisely.

how should i judge my power for this jutsu exactly?

It is basically a small wave of electricity that flows from your hand. I wouldn't recommend as it is kind of weak and you will get similar and more powerful jutsus later on.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

Let us move on. I again, want you to focus your Raiton Chakra into your hand. Pool it into something physical and do your best to maintain and shape its form into a ball. When you think you have created enough power in that ball, release it from your hand towards my clone here. -creates clone-
Remember to use your dominant hand as it is more stronger.

my left hand is dominant so i will use that one

Description: By gathering chakra in their hands, the user can create a ball of electrical energy and launch it at the enemy.

It's a simple attack to counter weak Earth moves. I wouldn't recommend it.

Let us move on. This next jutsu is a little like the shields above, but stronger. Once again, concentrate your chakra to create a Raiton Shield around you. Make sure to add a lot of chakra to make the Shield thick and strong. I want my clone to be destroyed when it touches the Shield in a few moments. This doesn't explode though. It more like...paralyzes. xD

yes it seems like a lot of the lower ranked lightning moves aren't that strong but once they get higher they completely rock.

*gathers chakra around body in a raiton shield, this time applying even more chakra as to make it much thicker*

it sounds like it just completely makes the enemies body go into shock from the chakra going through there body

We will now start focusing more on the elemental aspects of Lighting. Let's start by focusing your chakra into the air and into the clouds. Remember to send a lot of Raiton chakra. Once you have made the environment stormy (in a real battle, if it is already stormy, then there is no need to do this), then you can focus on bringing down Lightning strikes from the clouds you have hit with your Raiton chakra.
Let's give this a try, will we not? Hit one of those trees near us with a Lightning from the sky.
