Start by making long row of pillars grow in front of you. as the pillars grow make them interlace each other like in the piture below but only bottom to top, not left to right (as shown)

the first one (wooden style coffin) is not true mokuton. Its a anime filler clan ability to manipulate wooden training dummy's, so we will not be learning it... it's pretty useless anyway. however, the second one is very usefull especially when fighting jinchurriki

Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram → Monkey → Tiger

The palm will bear the "sit" kanji. Drawing close, the user will place their palm on the chest of the Jinchuuriki and then withdraw, an emanation of chakra will then follow from the seal to the palm. Spiked posts will rise and surround the Jinchuuriki to corral them. In a short time, the Jinchuuriki's bijuu manifestation and chakra will withdraw from their body into the chest seal, eventually returning them to normal.


This is typically used in conjunction with the crystal necklace that naruto wears, but I think it can be used even without that.

Awesome. You wont have many opportunities to use this technique. I think I've only used it once throughout my entire time here in the boards.

Lets recap. Wood is typically used for binding. the ability to grow wood near the opponent and wrap them up is extremely usefull, and allows you to be able to plan effective strategies.

for example, you could make a shadow clone or wooden clone, then attack with a large wind/ fire/ or lightning jutsu with one yamato and use the second yamato to bind the opponent. While they are bound they will not be able to form seals which greatly limits thier jutsu uses. Most likely they will use chidori nagashi to escape the wood, but by that time your large wind/ fire/ or lightning jutsu would have hit them.

Mokuton allows the users to battle creatively and attack and defend in new and unique ways. whenever you battle you should try and use your wood in a new way to see if you can come up with attack strategies that will catch your oponnent off guard.
